a bar i used to frequent did this with one of their tables too.
really fricken annoying too! especially the way they have it set up now, its between 2 9ft tables in one of the 2 pool rooms, so you ALWAYS get ping pong balls in your pockets, on the table, hitting you, and the people playing the game always want to get riled up and hit the table with the paddles.

LOL Actually, I was jonzin for pool so bad that I already took it off. Which was simple because it just sits on top the table. I got it from Big-5 on sale. The family loves it, plus I bought some over sized ping pong balls for when we have parties and people are too drunk to see the regular ones.
