To everyone:

I want to take this oportunity for formally appologize for not being able to attend the World 10Ball Championships. Despite the fact that I tried to take the proper steps in this situation, in the end, it is my fault and I take full responsibilty as well as the punishment that follows.

I fought hard this year to advance to a position that guaranteed my invitation to the event and was disappointed when I was unable to attend. I will do my best to make it up to my fans as well as the players who could have gone in my place. I sincerely hope that you can forgive me.

Regretfully,
Charlie "Hillbilly" Bryant

No apology needed. Stuff happens that causes people to cancel many events.

There's no need to apologize. Seems to me that you lost out on more than we did by not being able to play. Oh, and don't ever let it happen again!

very nice gesture sir. You are one of the players that is most respected and liked and I'm sure you had the best intentions. Good luck in the future.

You're a hell of a guy Charlie. Your apology shows that you not only have a lot of character and integrity, but you care about your fans and the fans of the sport. Sorry you couldn't attend.

If this is the worst thing you do this year you are in good shape.

Take it easy bro, see you at DCC.

Just to add my 2 cents to anyone who has read the other thread. When I called Charlie andmade him aware ofthe thread he was saddened by the thought of it and really cared that he might have dissapointed anyone or that anyone though he had let them down. I just wanted to add that in case anyone thinks this is a half hearted appology. Charlie reall cares.

charlie-
you always are a true gentlemen when it comes to pool... with a little humor! :)

I agree --> no apology necessary. These things happen -- to all of us -- part of being human.....oh wait, you're not human. Just do an update on those computer chips and you'll be fine -- like a brand new machine!

Respects,

Bob

Charlie, the only thing you need to apologize for is your attempt at karaoke :grin::grin::grin:!!!

This kind of testimony speaks volume to Charlie's character. I had liked watching his matches here in LA and will continue to do so. Have a good holiday cheer and save your worries for those wayward balls on the table.

world 10-ball championship no show

Hey Mr. Bryant,
Happy late Thanksgiving Day. Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. Continue to have faith my brother we will get there. By the way I'm starting to implement more things in my pool game you taught me.
Thanks.

P. S. Tell Heather I said hello!

God Bless

To Mike Howerton:

In both of our original posts, we stated that the proper people were informed about Charlie’s inability to attend the World 10Ball Championships. We were incorrect in our assumptions and the entire situation has now become a huge mess. We would like to extend another formal apology to Mike Howerton, who we thought was an adequate contact person as he is closely associated with the one person Charlie WAS supposed to tell (who was not available).

Mike: you are a honest, hard-working individual who has done a lot for the game and the players. We apologize for any and all comments that have come your way via our posts and hope that our relationship has not been permanently damaged. Sometimes, when people are being attacked, they don’t consider how their defense affects other people.

With the clarification of this situation, we formally claim any and all responsibility for the misunderstanding concerning the World 10Ball Championships and fully accept all consequences. We should have called a few other people and asked a few more questions before assuming the matter was handled.
