free cue to student player

one of my prototypes revealed a slight crack,the kind many cue makers fill with epoxy and no one really notices it again,I am going to play with it for a few days and then we would like to give it to a student player,to qulify for this great playing cue I would like to have a letter telling me about yourself and what you intend to do.
This is not charity,it will not be given based on need or sad story,it is a prize to someone trying to do something special.please pm to get the address and send me a letter

These cues are no longer for sale and for all practical purposes it is as good as new

Dean: There are two high school teams that play out of the Illinois Billiards Club.
I will forward a link to the instructors.
 
I was hoping Dean would take one of these cues and give some respected members a 2 week trial each and ship it off to the next guy,after say 10 lucky guys get to hit with it then give it to a student of the game,JMO,thought it would be a cool idea and a good way to get his stuff out there. :)

That would be best...... Kinda like what Starky has done.... I actually have the euro tester version of a starkey if anybody wants to give it go... Hurry up though.. I am prolly gonna buy this thing soon!
 
dean , my story goes like this ,it is sad! i was born a poor white child to a man who was a horse trader, and when i was old enough to walk i had to clean stalls, then go to school walking up hill both ways, and in the winter i had to shovel snow in flip flops! do i need to go on ? do I get the cue?:D

I have recieved no letters yet,but several indications.I am not looking to hear about pool so much as to find someone who is doing something with his life,
I invite anyone to join in as you have

Contact the nearest Boys & Girls Club and donate it to them. They always need equipment and many have pool tables but not enough cues. There are a lot of posters on here who learned to play pool at their local Boys Club so you would be contributing to not one but a club of future players.
 
Just checking in to see if the cue has been given away yet. It's a great thing your doing. Hope it goes to someone deserving.
