When i was broke. I would go to the bar near my house with two barboxes. Grab the cueball from one and practice shots on one table.

Some owners might frown on this but the owner of the bar i went too didnt mind at all. Was a family friend after all

Try the truck stop. They probably won't have pool tables there but you could earn a few quick bucks in the restroom. You said you were ok with some mild shiestiness.

Find something you are good at and trade it for table time.
I build and maintain websites on the side. I cut a deal with the local sports bar for free table time for building & maintaining their website and social media presence.

Coming around AZ and suggesting you are ok with "shiestiness" and asking how to hack a bar table is not a good way to start. Do you realize many posters on here own businesses?
