Beautiful, Chris. Love the custom engraving on the Tucker and the veneers on the Tibbits. I like the look of the linen wrap on the Tibbits so I'd keep it as-is. It provides a nice contrast with the ebony.

cues

I'm totally AGAINST having a mis-matched cue. Leave that thing all original. Great cues. You don't think if it was meant to have a different wrap, Tibbitts know's what up. A classic four pointer doesn't need a fancy wrap. Save that wrap & Kenny for something else, maybe like a putter.

Chris,

Nothing short of a phenomenal pair of cues, boss. The Tucker looks fantastic...and they DO play great.

That Tibbets is SICK. I know you like EE wraps...and I'm sure you'd pick one out that would look fantastic...but the traditionalist in me says "Keep the linen!!!"

Either way, it's an amazing cue. Congrats to ya, sir. Enjoy the ever-lovin' hell out of 'em both!!

Tucker and Tibbitts

Hi Chris,
congrats on both Cues and YES Friday 13.is a lucky Day for ME also, always:D
I would go with EE wrap too because it is not the OLD real Cortland Linen.
If it was the old good ones keep it but so you can change. I had a Showman Titlist with real Cortland Linen and It feels good and looks good but I scare for dirty, so I have SOLD the Cue. All my Cues are wrapless/real Lizzard or EE wrap:wink: and I feel good with them.

How compare hits the Tibbitts??????? You say old School:confused: what mean.

I'm with Mark. If you want it to 'scream old school', keep it with the linen. But... elephant ear always looks good too.

I am definitely keeping the Tibbitts as is. This cue plays really, really well. I can see why these cues are so highly regarded and desired.

Thanks again for all the nice comments.

Wow those are really sweet Chris. I agree that I'd keep that wrap on the Tibbets as is, looks really old school cool with it. I'd love to hit a few with the Tucker, that's right up my alley, what's the hit like on it.....stiff?

Thanks Rusty,

My Tucker plays very, very solid. It is rather stiff yet I am able to put pretty good spin on the ball. I am able to stroke the $hit out of the cueball without any issues or limitations. And it breaks like a beast. I wanted a great playing cue that I could "beat up" and not worry so much. Murray is great to deal with and helped me make the right decisions for this cue.

How far am I away on your list, BTW?

Bridged points on the Tibbets with veneers that jump out at you! Keep the linen wrap on the cue it looks "old school" and appropriate on that cue.

Tibbitts

So glad you decided to keep the original linen. I love old school look, maybe because I grew up in that era. I am sure they both hit great.

Thank you for sharing!
