I would like to state for the record about the incident where I did not keep one foot on the floor, prior to my match against Archer I overheard Earl talking to the ref. and questioning Jose Parica. I turned my head and there was Jose one of the greatest players on the planet stretched out with his feet no where close to the ground, Earl asked the ref if this was a foul and she said no. I thought to myself that is insanity to not have one foot on the floor, Earl went on to explain that it was a poor rule and the ref. responded by saying "well Earl he is not as tall as you." I am familiar with the equipment and how delicate the cushions are when abused like sitting on them as Jose was doing.
Here is my question to recovery jones and his cute little ditty about the monkey man finding a loop hole, if the greatest players out there are taking advantage of a rule that should be place but is not then why should I let them have full advantage over me. The reason I won the match against Archer was not because I climbed the table, when he would not shake my hand I found an earman and said that I was really beginning to like this 8-ball. Johnny showed his worst side again by asking me to gamble, to which I had a strong and confident response, I told him that if he wanted we could cruise down to the local billiard room and play either some One Pocket or Bumps for a minimum of $500.00 a game. He said he didn't play One Pocket or Bank Pool, Johnny is a champion but he steped over the line when he asked me to gamble, he prefers to play the games that are mostly offensive and repetative. If he would have played and stepped out of his comfort zone he might have gotten one of his Georgia peachy feathers ruffled, as those are my best games and I would have like to have seen Johnny's One Pocket he has allways avoided playing these two games at the DCC and only played 9 ball, I can't understand that cause I think the Banks and One hole are the two best events.
Sincerely, Danny Harriman
