Martin, you always post great cues. Will you be setting up a booth in VF with all of your in stock cues?

Take care,
JimmyK

Hi Jimmy, Thanks for the compliment. I keep going "all in" for more cues from the best USA makers I can work with. Yes, please come by Booth 41 upstairs and say hello. Superior Cues Although I won't have all of my inventory there will be 60+ new unchalked cues to choose from, 15 John Davis blanks, and lots of cue leather. Ariel Carmeli, Paul Drexler, Kent Davis, and Dave Barenbrugge will be helping out at the booth. John Davis and others will be coming by for a day or so too. We'll have a lot of fun.

Sounds great.................see you then.

i doubt that.... i've seen about 8 new ones this year.... who told you that.... nice cue though.

I have read that in several posts myself going back at least a year. If I wasn't lazy I would go find them but it's not a big deal. Things change.

Beautiful cue. I had one of the coco ones with an ivory joint. Someday I'll get another one of Ed's cues.

Exactly. During the time Ed was focused on the fullsplice model, about 2 years, no 5 fancy ring cues were being made and no orders for them were taken. I want to be clear that Ed never said he would never make the model again. It's a popular all time classic model cue with his signature paua dots ringsets. In my efforts to promote the cues I had on hand as a stocking dealer I (not Ed) said the model was being retired. Okay, now the model is un-retired. BFD! Most of the older 5 fancy ring (and other) cues have the Taiwanese tapered shafts which are extremely stout and stiff. The newer cues, while still firm have better flexibility in the shafts. For the last 3 years I've called this the North American Taper. I order cues from Ed with players in mind, so I sometimes request 12.75mm, 12.8mm or 12.9mm, knowing that these sizes are more popular today than 13.0mm or 13.2mm. Anyway, I hope that clears the matter up. His cues are easily among the very best being made today. I am delighted to have an excellent and long time dealer relationship with Ed Prewitt.

No waiting...in Gabon ebony with elephant ear wrap. Ed's quoted build time is around 2-1/2 years now.
