****FS: Brand New GINACUE 12A****

Good Catch Gentlemen!

Lu is checking all of this out this week. See my reply to Will's post, Paul.

After verification from Ernie, the butt plate is indeed not Ivory, it is his Ivory Substitute. Much appreciation to the keen eyes of Will and Kevin for pointing out this mistake with the Ivory Substitute Butt Plate.
Price has been dropped to $3,350.
Thanks for the knowledge,
Lu

Yeah and where I'm from.....................a deal is a deal..................enjoy the Tasc without conscience. :grin-devilish::grin-devilish:

Sounds like we are both from the same place.

OK, when's the last time you looked at that monster Gina? I swear your cue made me order a Snakewood Gina (just a 11D), Ernie is making that cue and the last Spain/Gina for me in his current huge batch.

My pleasure . You are certainly not the first one to mistake Ernie's standard butt caps for ivory. I sold a 12A just like yours, 2 shafts, leather wrap, ivory joint, w/ case, just a month ago for your current price. My buyer was thrilled when he received the stick. Good luck with your sale Ginas are great playing cues with very precise workmanship that always go up in value.

Paul,

I think you will find if you analyze the butt cap, you will find that it has some grain in it, but don't be fooled, its his magical plastic, and some of the best faux ivory known to man, an Ernie trademark. All my cues have it, it is quite rare for Ernie to make a buttcap out of ivory, esp. given the $400 upcharge, as it make no sense for anything other than a Ivory handled cue from him.

I love the fact that this has bull weight shafts on it, your cue is worth the money, nobody just seems to have any right now I assume

Cliffy

That Gina is your signature is CLASSIC. I think Burton would smile if he could see it.

I own some nice cues, but I have to say, this damn thing sings to me just about as much as anything I own. Many thanks!

Lu and Paul,

You have a wonderful looking and playing cue, one that will certainly make any buyer proud. His choice of woods and veneer colors are hard to beat in any of his cues, but particularly this one. It is a favorite of mine.

And Cliffy, Good work too!!

Good luck with the sale.

Thats what I like about Ernie's cues they are just SOLID. No BS, his formula works, they are consistant pretty much from cue to cue. He is an artist but never veers away from the basics that made his cues the ones to own by alot of pretty cagey dudes in tournaments back in the day. I just wish other makers cues played as consistently cue to cue

No hold out here. The last Spain is in the current batch (of 44!) that The Master is currently working on. The nose is pretty much done, inlays in, joint on and ringwork. Its a big batch of cues, I have no clue when the last Spain will be done.

I know man. I've turned down some pretty high offers on mine and as everybody knows I'm a cue pimp (or I think it was you that had me as the PUSHER MAN - lol).

Hi!, Will, I want to thank you for your input and info on this very nice Ginacue. We are finding out that the market is VERY tough and disappointing when a cue of this quality and price cannot be sold. Lu and I plan to leave it up for sale through this weekend and pull it if it is not sold. Best wishes to you and yours, Paul.

It is difficult to understand that this Ginacue is still available @ $3350, but that is just how the economic market is for now and later. I just want all to know that I will not be reducing this price and thus devalue this Ginacue. We all have this great passion and appreciation for well-designed and crafted cues and this cue is surely one of them. Lu and I thank all of you for your comments and information regarding Ernie's great looking non-ivory butt-plates. Best wishes to all, Paul.

This cue is sold today to a valued friend and AZer who knows great cues, Paul.
