Great offer on a nice looking cue.
BTT!
I am going to call this one a WEST PALM Bump!Hi Myron, thanks!
Lu
Great offer on a nice looking cue.
BTT!
Greg, call me when you are able to make me a firm offer. This cue is not yet sold, Paul.Sorry I missed your call Paul, I was sound asleep. If you want to call I will be at work the rest of the evening..
Very beautiful cue. PM sent.
This cue out of Ernie's shop is $3500 not including the matched 4.25oz shafts, and the wait-time is six to nine months or more dependent on when he gears up to produce this Model 12a, so I think I have this cue priced well with the escrow service and the U.S. shipping costs included, Paul.bump to the top, cue is still available, Paul.

Hi! Kevin, what I meant about "not including the matched 4.25oz shafts" is that most probably they would not be available within Ernie's $3500 price, and that shafts out of his shop normally weigh 4oz or less, at least that is my experience. Yes, I am sure that the buttcap is ivory as well as the joint. Photos/pics just do not replicate the ivory colors very well--it is not your eyes, Ha Ha. Thanks for the inquiry. Best regards, Paul.Paul
That's a pretty cue. I had one as my player for a year.
What do you mean about he pricing "not including the matching shafts"?
Are you sure the butt cap is ivory? The color doesn't seem to match the ivory ring work or maybe that's just my eyes.
Thanks
Kevin
Paul,
I think you will find if you analyze the butt cap, you will find that it has some grain in it, but don't be fooled, its his magical plastic, and some of the best faux ivory known to man, an Ernie trademark. All my cues have it, it is quite rare for Ernie to make a buttcap out of ivory, esp. given the $400 upcharge, as it make no sense for anything other than a Ivory handled cue from him.
I love the fact that this has bull weight shafts on it, your cue is worth the money, nobody just seems to have any right now I assume

Thanks for your thoughts "Cliffy". To check this out, Lu will see Ariel Carmeli and have him examine the buttcap to confirm or deny it is ivory. Lu and I do not want to have any discrepancy on this cue. Yes, I saw the grain in the buttcap of this cue. And, the estimate I got from Ernie included the price for the ivory buttcap. Keep in touch Cliffy, I do not have any firm offers around the $3750 posted price. Paul.Paul,

Thanks, Will. Lu will check on this by contacting Ernie with the serial no. of this cue, and also having Ariel examine the cue since he is scheduled to see Ariel this week about another cue. Both Lu and I want this sale offer to be totally accurate, Paul.Cliffy is correct, that the butt cap is likely not ivory, and that there is likely not an upcharge for the shaft sizes. I believe you can call Ernie, give him the serial number and he will usually let you know if the cap is ivory or not. He could also let you know about an upcharge for the shafts.(?).

Lu is checking all of this out this week. See my reply to Will's post, Paul.Paul
What Will said.
You should call Ernie with the serial number and check on that butt cap. I'm sure you don't want to mislead a fellow member in the sale and its easy enough to check.
As long as you don't mess with his taper, Ernie doesn't upcharge for shaft weights (unless you want to go with phenolic inserts for weight control) or lengths. At least that's been my experience in the few cues I've been lucky enough to acquire from him.
Ernie has like a 6 step process over a year or two with his shafts and he weighs and marks them each step of the way, he has barrels of them at different stages, you tell him what you want and he just grabs them out of his almost finished barrel.
