very nice cue AL.....keep up the good work!!
If your cues hit as awesome as they look,I might have to break down and buy one:wink:Obviously your a craftsman by heart, and produce some of the most unique looking cues on the forum.Superb!!!

You must be kidding!!!To say anything other than positive about this man's work is horrible.Who's idea was this cue?I have not seen another one like it on the forum unless your just talking about the technique of the scallops on the handle.Richard Black has a cue with that same type of scallops on the bottom of his cue that Cornerstone is selling. That to me is just a little selfish to say other cuemakers can't use certain design patterns. With no patent its a open market. Can only one cuemaker use a ivory joint,or ebony,or birdeye maple.C'mon, you yourself as one of the best cuemakers on the planet should be able to see beyond your arm and appreciate something nice like this. Most of your cues have scallops and look great ,but I think if other cuemakers use scallops it wouldn't mean they have no dignity and no creative ability. You've obviously been caught up in your own hype.Takecare ScottObviously he's unoriginal & feels good about copying somebody else's designs. There's no craftsmanship, uniqueness nor heart involved. Just trying to ride another builder's skirt tales instead of manning up & creating something of his own.

beautiful cue Al! just out of curiosity, is this cue located in the phillipines or the US currently?

Al,
I find it extremely disappointing that you don't pull this cue off the market.
It really makes your apology to Eric seems hollow and even insincere. On the other thread you mentioned "i am willing to replace that and put that cue on the bandsaw" and I'd thought you'd have done same with this cue. Yet I find you bumping your own sale thread.
I own both your cue and Eric's.
Based on your action here, I will never ever buy another cue from you or from secondary market as you have totally lost my respect. I realize my respect for you, my purchasing power or influence on others to follow my example may not be much but I believe you are hurting yourself (and indirectly other Filipino cuemakers) in a long run for a short-sighted gain.
Hidy Ho <-- just one man's opinion
