Up for sale is a 2002 Joel Hercek cue. I would love to keep this one because it is such a cool design. But I am trying to stay focused on cues that were built for me and I got this one on the second hand market.

58"
5/16x14 piloted ivory joint
Butt - 14.55 oz, 29"
Shaft 1 - 4.0 oz, 29", ivory ferrule, unknown meaty tip, 13.15mm
Shaft 2 - 3.95 oz, 29", ivory ferrule, unknown non-vegetarian tip, 13.1mm

Balance point is 19" from the bottom of the buttcap.

4 cocobolo points into lightly figured birdseye maple, with black, mahogany, coco, maple veneers (outside in)
multiple ivory inlays, engraved ivory ovals
ivory index rings in sleeve and at joint
short delrin buttcap
white/brown Irish linen wrap

The butt is free of dings or any other blemishes. Both shafts have a couple tiny tiny finish dings at the joint end., looks like bumping the table on the follow through. Both roll straight on the table. The lighter (by .05 oz. :p) shaft has a great finish patina and has been played more. The other shaft could be slicked up a little for play. You can slightly feel the ferrule to shaft wood transition on both that a quality cleanup from your favorite repair guy would take care of.

This is one of four cues that Joel made with these inlays. Each one is slightly different; veneers, buttcap, speartips, without engraving. He liked the pattern so much that he has one in his personal cue collection.

NEW PRICE ---- $OLD pending payment. Looking for cash on this one. Thanks for looking

Scott

Wow I just asked my wife for my next 5 yrs allowance!! Nice cue....

Scott,

Great price for a Hercek cue with lots of ivory. From what I heard Joel already close his book and not taking order anymore.

Nothing like a $1500.00 discount!

Very low price. Check and see if Deano is interested. He loves them things. Also Cuesrus and Icem they all go nuts for H cues.
Nick :)

Updated the specs and condition.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I try to price my sales for current market conditions. Hopefully without insulting Mr. Hercek or his work.

Yeah.

No.

Got a really nice trade offer, but I'm looking for cash. Thanks.

Nope...
More than likely the Hoppe by Joel.

This cue is really sharp at a great price.

:groucho: I Will Be Waiting...

Nor the Hoppe by Joel.

Believe it or not, both Mr. Szamboti and Joel built those cues for me. They just didn't know it at the time!
