I have had two one like this and one with his fancy signature. Wow, it looks like these things are starting to slow down a little, I would have thought this cue would have been gone in less than an hour at that price.

That's a Schmelke blank? Hmmmm I thought Eric Crisp made his own everything except the tip and bumper

Also, are you in the USA Via?

Yeah. I don't think thats a Schmelke blank. I'm from Singapore.

It is a Schmelke blank. Eric uses these blanks for his sneakies. He gets the best of the best from Schmelke. Other than his sneakies, all his cues are made 100% by Eric expect the tip and bumper as stated above.

It doesn't matter what kind of blank it is a cue like that from Eric would have sold in ten minutes four months ago. Everyone must be short from Christmas.

It is a very nice piece of Bocote/purple heart compared to the Schmelke sample.

Looks as if Eric does get the best.

I have a Perry Weston "hustler" cue as he calls it made out of a Schmelke splice. It is a sweet playing cue, and also a nice piece of wood.

I deal with Schmelke on a regular basis, some of the blanks are like the one pictured on this thread and some are like the photo on the website. I think the website photo's are more designed to show the different woods available.

I am and have been very happy with all products I purchase from Schmelke. When I want a special blank, with a great deal of figure in the wood, it is never a problem. However, the normal blanks that I get are also very good, unlike other company's I have never had to send anything back to date.
