Mosconiac, those look like old pictures. Doubt he would have been treating that Charger like that if he realized it would be worth over $200K someday.
Hauling home the family's new carpet...

Damn-What's a 74 Road Runner worth? I had a similar car and when it died, I gave it to a buddy who wanted it as he was gonna restore a Road Runner. I know he still has it and drives it maybe 300 miles a year. He used a lot of parts from my car.
Return to funny. Look closely:

Since noone bothered to tell us what this is I will guess again, is it the outline of Texas?

Road Runners without special provenance or numbers matching Hemi motors will not bring any major money.
However, the SuperBird as pictured here is extremely rare and generally starts in the $200,000 range. Any provenance or rare options will bring these cars up to and above 1/2 million.
The SuperBee which is the same platform can run up to "house" money but generally hovers just under $100,000.
I am no expert but I follow these things quite a bit and these numbers are right in line with the auction results and published pricings on most registries.
Actually the car in the picture is a Dodge Daytona. It has factory Magnum 500 wheels. Best site to cry on. www.carsinbarns.com

As you know, I'm sure the Daytona and the Superbird are the same car, but one was branded "Dodge" while the other "Plymouth". But regardless, daytona or 'bird - the price for those cars are astronomical these days. Well, one that's in showroom condition, that is.
That site... it almost really did make me cry. wow. Not sure if I should thank you or punch you in the arm for posting that. heh.![]()
