My wife has been missing a week now. The police said to prepare for
the worst. So, I had to go down to Goodwill to get all of her clothes
back.

I was just correcting someone who was miscalculating probabilities.

It is a recursive question. In order to calculate the probability of guessing the correct answer you need to know what the correct answer is. But the correct answer is the probability of guessing what it is.

I'll restate the question slightly differently, then I for one, will stop beating this particular dead horse.

There is a growing movement to bestow "personhood" on various animals, a privilege that human embryos don't enjoy. Once animals are given personhood the vote can't be far behind. Once critters can vote giving them handouts will be encouraged!

I was devestated to find out my wife was having an affair but, by turning to religion, I was soon able to come to terms with the whole thing. I converted to Islam, and we'er stoning her in the morning!

Fantastic comment!
I often wonder how in the world did ppl survive without someone to depend on.......oh that's right they were independent which was one of the reasons this country became great.

Then again I have been predicting a decline in expected life span in this country partly due to government dependency which breeds laziness. A hundred or so years ago shortened life expectancy was due to trivial illnesses by the standards of today even though ppl of that time were far healthier due to being independent. Soon it will be not trivial illness, but dependency on govt and pure laziness that will cause shortened lifespans
