Please report back after watching this movie! lolThanks
I guess i need to watch the movie
I was in college in 1972 and didnt see many movies
it's a reference to the movie Deliverance from 1972, one of the best movies ever. in it, the city boys on a canoe trip runs into appalachian locals, some of whom plays banjo and some of whom are into raping city boys
on a side note i played in a short-lived rock band called The Griner Brothers when i was young, also a reference to the appalachian locals in that movie:
Yogi is originally from an Italian area of St Louis called "The Hill". I knew a guy who grew up with Yogi. He went by Lefty - I never knew his real name. I knew him from a gym at the local rec center. One day we decided to play pool at the rec and I noticed he was playing right handed. I asked him about that and he said he did everything right handed except hit a baseball. When he was a kid he had trouble hitting and his Dad told him to try hitting left handed. When he came up to bat on the sandlot the kids in the field would yell "lefty" so they could shift. It stuck.
I used to watch the guys on a ferry across the Mississippi do stuff like that with huge rope. They got lots of practice! A pissed off captain when they missed and the ferry headed down river too!Don't worry...Be happy...

When I had feral cats around here I used to watch them kill small snakes. They didn't seem to be hitting hard but they would keep tapping the snake on top of the head until it got disoriented and then go for the back of the head . Killed off most of the snakes, saw a cat floating in the pond now and then though!About 6 jabs in two seconds...Cats rule!

I started sending PT109!a private message but decided I would man up and post this in public
I dont get it ( insert embarrassed emoj)
Could someone explain it please?
I apologize in advance for being a dunce
All true. I also thought it was a great and memorable movie. Only downside is that ever since I watched it, my butthole tightens slightly every time I hear dueling banjos. I like dueling banjos so that's a shame.i highly recommend you do that. great authenticity, dialogue, theme, score, acting.. and you get to see burt reynolds bow-fishing. not many movies have bow-fishing in it.
