While goose hunting along the banks of the Big Horn River I sat out a few full body Canadian goose full body decoys while my hunting friend Ed and I hid back in the brush while trying to call in either ducks or geese as either of them were about to land among the decoys a bald or golden eagle would suddenly appear and dive bomb them making them flair .
Making collecting a limit of birds was difficult at best , we did manage about half , yes the eagles are thick along the banks of the river during waterfowl season as they clean up on crippled or dead birds that hunters or their dogs didn't retrieve .
So I really enjoy seeing a goose giving a eagle what for ! Ha ha !
