Ryan Theewan (Rat Cues---Mueller's).. cuerepair@muellers.com www.muellers.com

Scot Sherbine (Proficient billiards) www.proficientbilliards.com

Depending on the condition of the wrap and whether or not it has to be replaced before refinishing, you are looking at $125-150 plus shipping, assuming that it is a simple refinish and nothing else has to be repaired.

I just sent a pm about proficient! Word travels fast about good shops!

Mike Erwin. He was Bobs shop foreman for many years, is fast, does beautiful work, customer service is A++, has a lot of Meucci parts on hand, and is about the cheapest around. I've never used Ryan but have used Proficient. Both of those two do excellent work as well but Mikes prices and customer service push him over the top as far as I'm concerned with Meucci repairs or refinish work.

thx all....i'm going to send out some emails tomorrow,,,,i'll let you guys know how it goes!

Ryan at muellers does great work, as does proficent. Both of them will do a outstanding job at making your cue look great.

1st off where you from? There may be a custom cue maker not to far from you that could do it. If you mention your area , maybe someone here will know someone. It will save you shipping costs and be done in alot less time

Rat

I've got to throw in another vote for Ryan Theewan of RAT cues and Muellers. Not only does he do great work, he is also an official Meucci cue repairman. He's done a couple cues for me and they were both done perfectly and very professionally.

+1 on

Ryan (RAT) at Muellers

or

Scott (Proficient)

but

whatever you decide, DO NOT send it to the 'black hole of disappointment' that is Meucci Repair.

Best,
Brian kc

Ryan does awesome work. He refinished an original for me that had a cracked collar.

Cue looked like new.
You can't go wrong with him.

would it be best to send my cue (pred ikon) to either ryan or scott and then get it re-wrapped, or send it to pred, then get it re wrapped? would that void a warranty

Just received two Meucci's back from Mike Erwin. They both had smoke damage from a house fire. Mike replaced the linen wraps, sealed the wraps like original, and refinished the butts. They both look absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

I've used Scott at Proficient Billiards several times in the past. He did a very high end McDaniel for me that was a road players cue....looked like it got hit by a meteorite before I sent it to Scott, got it back and it looked like new.

I've also heard very good things about the RAT cues guy that others have mentioned.

meucci refinish

Mike Irwin Irwin custom Cues is the man to do the refinish, fast turnaround, great prices, great communication, he is outstanding!!
