getting ready for the ICCS

I'll be honest Chris...I came back to this thread numerous times yesterday in anticipation of the new pics...I wasn't disappointed!!! I can't wait to see the final pics (if you are so inclined to appease those of us "cue porn addicts"!)...

Chris, I think you are going to have to change your Avatar!

I cant do that. The cue in my avatar is my personal playing cue. It is the one Megan Smith used to win a few state titles. I built the cue for myself. It left me for a few years and now it is back home.
The cue i am finishing now was a simple order process. My friend Bob asked me to build a cue that is my style. I was given no other direction than that besides the wrap material.
To be honest it was a tough decision on what to build as i do not stick to just one style of design. Ultimately i sat down and just sketched out what i would build if i wanted another playing cue, and that is what i built. It came out great. I wish the pictures did it justice. I will try to get some taken when it is all done with the matching jp's on it. The only issue is i am a little sad to see this one go. It is like i built my new cue and dont get to play with it. Oh well, maybe the owner will let me hit a few ball with it in vegas.

Chris, you are really taking the overlay game to a whole new level :grin-square: Nice job buddy. Have fun in Vegas.

Awesome work Chris.

Love the design and execution!

Thanks for sharing.

RED ALERT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not let Ted near the cue with any type of tip shaping tool.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't do it
Anyway I have league tonight, so Chris has more time to prepare.

Ted never told you about the mcbyrne cue?

He has so many cue stories that he may have told me but I can't recall it.
He brings so many different cues to the room that I make a comment on how one looks and plays and he says"Thats what you said last time"
Who can keep up with him?
Would the mcbyrne cue be like my byrnecasi?
