Looking for feedback from anyone who has used a cue that had a glass epoxy pin, or the rc3 carbon fiber radial pin. How did it play, feel, is it possible to break with it, etc..... Thanks in advance for any info.
About an ounce.sicbinature said:How much weight difference is there between the g10 and a standard pin? The reason I am asking is I am having a cue made out of ebony, which is somewhat heavy, but still trying to keep the cue under 19 oz. Thanks.

My current player is a Chudy with the G-10 pin... and the hit is very sweet. I'm sure the pin has something to do with that but I don't know how much. BTW, I stand to be corrected, but I don't believe Chudy uses the carbon pin any longer.sicbinature said:Looking for feedback from anyone who has used a cue that had a glass epoxy pin, or the rc3 carbon fiber radial pin. No worries in a break cue.

Varney Cues said:The fake Radials that don't match are imports like used by Kaiser & 5280 I believe. There are others made here in the USA that fit fine. The fake one pictured works fine with my Radial tap and will accept any shaft tapped for a real Radial.
