I have never once in my life played using a shooting glove.
I was in a local tourney at a bar earlier this week where the ac was broken down and it was a really hot and humid night. One of the regulars in attendance knew a little something about these things and so he went into the hvac area and came out with a 36 x 36 air filter that could have passed for "Cousin It". Looked like they never ever changed the filter. As a result, the condenser had frozen solid.
I wasn't shooting my best that night to begin with, now add a sticky shaft/sweaty hand that no amount of talc could cure. Doomed to fail. If I had a glove in my case I woulda used it for sure.
The simple question: Is there a glove (or maybe a couple) that are considered the best and what about the finger slides I occasionally see advertised? Are they the hot ticket?
Keeping in mind that I made it this many years without using one, perhaps it really isn't so important to have the latest & greatest. An emergency one of medium quality likely would be just fine.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!
Best,
Brian kc
