Going in for surgery in 12 hours.

Best wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. Never had a hernia operation but, as you mentioned, any surgery is serious. Hope the food in the hospital is good.

When you recover please say one for me. I go into the hospital in 9 hrs to have a stent placed in my left femoral artery which is over 90% blocked. As we both know, minor surgery is what other people have.

Good luck on your recovery and follow directions. I had an incisional hernia repaired over 5 yrs ago and am not supposed to lift over 20-25 lbs. When I accidently do I remember in a hurry and suffer and worry for a week or so.

So after my first heart attack I'm in the OR, about to get ballooned. My Doc sticks some happy juice into my IV. Then after some more prep work he asks me, "How are you feeling?" I tell him, "if you mean do I think it's 1969, not even close, ya better hit me again." So he does. It was really cool watching that camera go through my heart.

Hey alright! It looks like you made it. Now follow the Docs advice and get well soon:cool:

My screen is covered in dust from my work shop but it appears the Doc might of lopped of your thumbs and four fingers..... Probably just my dusty screen:embarrassed2:

Get on feet when the 'Doctor' says it's okay.

If you have good insurance you could be in there for weeks.:wink:

Tell them you have to go home because you left the lights on & you forgot to lock the front door.

Just had three hernias repaired 10 days ago; not fun but you will be happy you took care of it. Hope to be back on the tables in a couple of weeks. Take care.
