Gold Crown I for $25,000! Can someone enlighten me?

Speaking of enlightening, someone should enlighten the seller that the pic is of a GC5 straight off Brunswick's website.

EDIT: Oops Donny, you type a bit faster than me (or slower but you started before me). :grin-square:

Copper castings???? Brunswick never used copper casting on ANY GC, also...there's no such GC made in the 50's.

This is the same seller that had something else flaky that was mentioned here a week or two ago. I can't remember what it was, but it was some hugely overpriced POS.

Trolling for suckers is right.

I had a solid Gold Crown, but then my dentist replaced it with a new plastic one. It is around here somewhere, 25K to the first bidder.

anyone...anyone...

It was the same table you saw a few days ago. Someone posted a link to this item in the thread about the genuine $50K TCOM cue. You know, the actual Joss "Balabushka" that Newman gave to Cruise in the movie. You remember, the one with the tropical fish decals.

What put me over the top was the super nice pics of the table all wrapped up in packing blankets!!

Ok what would a Gold Crown 1 be worth in great condition w/ all original parts including the retro skirt with ball return? I have one.

the funny thing is, there no picture of the complete table. The complete table is a GC5.

Yeah, but the seller covered that in his description: "Please note: The picture in this listing is not the actual picture of the table and it is no where close, but a prototype. This is to give an idea how the table looks like. The one I am selling has 24K gold plate casting on all the metal pieces, e.g, the legs, the rayings, the trims etc., instead of the original copper casting that brunswick used."

My only reservation is that it seems to be missing one of the score counters. I'd have to knock it about 20K for that.

Actually, from the few pictures of actual parts of the table, I think it may be an extraordinarily nice looking table. But I have no idea about its "value."
