Can anybody show off their cues that have Goncalo Alves wood in them?

Just ran across this wood online and would (no pun intended here) like to see some cues that incorporate it.

Thanks fellas,

-Richard

I have two, but only have pics of one at the moment. I really like the figure and the tone. I read that Jerry Franklin's favorite wood was goncalo alves.....second from the left if it isn't obvious. I also have a Nitti that I would be willing to sell.

Mike,

I really like the road player style in that cue. It'll be a while before I get another cue but I'm thinking my next cue might look like that one you had for sale.

I want it haha!

Simple designs without extra inlays are fantastic. I love how the wrap, stitched collars, and wood all match and blend perfectly.

Seriously beautiful cue.

Side note: If this does need to be moved to the Cue Gallery then by all means move it. I wasn't sure of where to post this originally so I stuck it in the main forums.

A McDermott D-5 is Goncalo Alves with an Oak handle instead of a wrap.It is the only D-series McD without a wrap.If you like wrapless, the D-series cues are sometimes available at reasonable prices here, ebay,&FB.Those cues are KNOWN for their playability !!!

Here's a South West with a Goncalo Alves forearm.

Several years ago Viking Cues used to make a basic cue that used Goncalo Alves. It used to be their beginning cue model and sold for under $150. I used to sell that model ALOT! Because it was just such a great shooting value for someone wanting to get into a good American made cue on a budget. Viking no longer makes that particular cue model, but I would certainly be on the lookout for that Viking cue model on Ebay and elsewhere.

Was it the one with white joint collars ?

Although the wood is gorgeous I am not a big fan, I just don't like the way my mouth looks when I say it.:p

Schmelke still makes one similar.....

See if you can get a break ?

I was going to post this same exact cue! I've thought about ordering a couple of these with different joint configurations to bring along to tournaments. So many players seem to think they can tell the difference on this forum. A simple one piece butt like this would be the perfect test cue!!

I pretty sure I have one sold and think I would be good for another one.
If we ordered 3 or 4 of them together do you think they would give a break n price ?
