Oh wow; post some addresses and information...that's pretty under-handed. Time to form the mob, where did I put my pitchfork?

His actions were pretty Shady. He should have contacted you. He knew the cue hex received was not the cue you appointed as the prize.

I hope this gets resolved.

Good Luck

Ive never had this happen but I often worry about it when I send out multiple cues or packages.

Just as I feared, it was a mess.

It will all work out.

Ken

That's a shitty way to start the new year....bad karma will follow those that don't do the right thing. They will eventually pay for it one way or another.

Hope thing get resolve for you Chris.

Happy New Year.

This sucks, but...

No good deed goes unpunished. And I am sorry to say this
but putting the shipping labels on the wrong box is truly
an inexcusable mistake. There will always be human error
but this could have been avoided very easily if you were
paying attention. I am not trying to defend the deplorable
actions of the guy who lucked out, but that doesn't negate
the fact that you screwed up. I am sorry it happened and
I hope you guys figure out a resolution.

I had this happen one time also. Luckily the guy I sent it to was very stand up true testament to what all AZers should be. He sent the cue where it needed to go next day after he got it. Was very pleased and continue to do business with this gentleman to this day. Wish everybody was that stand up.

Monkey?!?! - WTF

Names, we need names...
then we can call in an air strike.
I don't suppose it would be possible to get all the interested parties to chime in here?

Its to bad this kinda thing happens , he knew he received the wrong cue . I did the same thing once , got the shipping lables mixed , the guys I was dealing with both outstanding people , They just shipped the cues to each other and I re-embursed them for the charges .

This is not always true would it be fair for the buyer if he recieved a cue much less valuable than the one he purchased due to this same kind of error

This is info that others need to know about........the thread doesn't belong in this section since
the subject matter hasn't anything to do with a current for sale/buy item but I think there needs to
be a section just about bad news AZers. So in the interim, maybe just post this in the Main Forum?

That sucks!

He received a free cue. He should've contact you when he knew he got the wrong cue.

And if he sold the cue, he should've at least make an effort in getting the cue back for you since that was supposed to be a free cue.

Hope it'll all worked out soon!

We really need to hear from str8shooter, but if this is as simple as the wrong cue in the box, he needs to man-up and send it back.
I've received cues that were left in cases by mistake, and it's a no-brainer to send them back.
I think it would be interesting to hear what mindset would allow someone to sell or trade the cue in this scenario,
especially since it was a freebie in the first place.
