You should have made a stink when it happened!!!! and either taken her cue, or made a complete ass out of her, or some other appropriate action, maybe stuffing her head in a toilet or whatever, and if she decided to rub your face in it that you weren't going to do anything cause she was a girl, you should have reared up with your cue, and swung it like your name is A-Rod, and knocked her jaw across the room. (see if she EVER stiff someone again)
But do you do that, no, you just walk out.
If you don't feel like smashing her face in, at the very least, smash something or TAKE something that is going to cost her MORE then $40.
Just grosses me out when someone doesn't have the sack to stand up for themselves.
You know what, right now, she's LAUGHING AT YOU for letting her get away with it.
Drop the name and be done with it, cause if you don't, you're just going to go down as another AZ whiner who has no spine.

Howard did make some quite forceful comments a few years ago. However the version you have reproduced above is completely fabricated, almost certainly in USA, although a similar version, subtly changed to better suit The British circumstances, have been circulated in UK too.
No big deal, just thought you'd like to know.

solving the air barrel problem the New Orleans way
There is only one thing to do when we are air barreled down here. Two dollars, twenty thousand dollars, it doesn't matter send Vito to visit.
I was standing talking to a visiting instructor from another part of the country at one of Tulane's colleges. He was explaining the need to get paid upfront for our professional services. I told him I always billed afterwards and never had a problem. He asked what I would do if I had a problem, basically an air barrel. "Send Vito."
With a puzzled look the instructor asked "Vito who?"
"People like Vito don't have last names."
The instructor turned towards the very sweet lady that ran the college, "Is that right?"
Sweetheart that she is she never batted an eyelash, "That's right, Vito doesn't have a last name!"
The poor out of towner looked more befuddled than ever. It was obvious that he didn't speak or quite comprehend Nawlins even when goodly spoken.
