I was at grady's billiards today and once again grady lost and wound up cussing out his opponent and everyone with him. Grady has got to be the worst loser of all time. His three day tournament was the worst ran tourn. of all time. I would hope that in the future everyone will resist any offers that he has.
 
Dont know if i can respect your post as its your first.Lets see if i anyone else who was there has anything else to say on the matter. :cool:
 
Sparky Ferrell was not even allowed in the building during the match being he beat grady earlier in the weekend. Sparky and RayAnne set in their car for three hours while Andy played Grady and when Grady lost he went outside and told sparky to get off of his Property.

All you do is mention that Sparky beat Grady, why not mention why Grady was so pissed off at Sparky? And the only time I saw him beat Grady was in the tournament, not gambling (unless I missed something). They argued for a very good reason, and both parties had the right to be upset.

I am going to cast my vote here for Grady being an assett to pool. He is the only one I have seen in a long time who is willing to take the worst end of a game just to get some action, and he bets his own money.

To me, this just looks like you intended on joining this forum for the sole purpose of trash-talking Grady, which won't get you very far.
 
I'd like to hear more about WHY you thought it was so poorly-run. To my way of thinking, Grady's tournaments are a credit to the game. The players conduct themselves perfectly, and he always pays what he says he will, whether it puts him in the red or not. Unless you can document your case a bit better, I don't think yours will be a very popular post here. GF

Grady's tournament was the worst run of all time? You mean out of all the pool tournaments from the beginning of pool tournament time Grady's was the worst run? And you can't think of a single worse loser of all time? It's seems as though you might have an agenda but folks around here can see through that stuff so don't waste anymore time besmirching Gradys character. Philw
 
I played in Grady's 9-ball tournament and didn't find it to be run poorly. And I never heard any complaints about it.

I watched most of the match between Grady & Sparky. Their argument centered around the fact that Sparky had a very weak partner as a handicap and Grady was playing alone. Grady got heated because Sparky was breaking every rack and he thought they should stay in the same order thoughout the match. Sparky thought Grady was pulling a move by making a big deal out of that and he said that its always been that way... that you could change the order every new game. He also thought that Sparky was giving instructions to his partner.

I don't fault Grady for not allowing Sparky in the building while he was gambling with Andy. After the altercation he had with him it would probably get in his head having Sparky sweating the match and possibly overhearing him make comments. Seeing how it is his establishment, he has the right to kick anyone out as he see's fit too.

Grady has been known to get a little p---d at times, but I think his
good qualities far outweigh his bad. I've known him since he was a kid
and his reputation has always been solid. Run's good tournaments too! He also now has the added pressure of getting his new room
up and running smooth. I for one, would like to see him slow down
until thats accomplished, but that ain't his style. Good Luck G-man!

I must know you. I was there yesterday watching the match also and there couldn't have been more than 10 people in the room. Care to PM me your secret identity? I'd like to know which one of Grady's patron's talks this much shit about him.

Well Eric EASY E. you should have been there for grady and andy's match. He probably lost 10 to 15 regular everyday customers because of this. A couple of whom spend $400 to $800 a week in there. You like talking to Randi but she is just as bad for buisness as Grady. I predict that GRADY'S BILLIARDS will be closed by summer, so enjoy while you can.:eek:

Please name one person who spends $80-$160 per day at Grady's. Just one will be fine. I played, ate, and drank there for a 14 hour stratch and owed just over $60.

If this IS Sparky... I am not surprised. I saw him at DCC, and let's just say he was... Unstable...

I'll still take the 6 and the breaks from him tho... He'll just have to post first.. :D :D :D
