I have seen this cue in person and hit a few balls. It is a great looking cue, and a even better playing cue, with the classic Bill Stroud design of the 1970's. If I have the $$$. I would be all over it.

wow.. that's an unbelievable price on this cue. Someone please snatch this up quick so I can stop drooling over it!

This looks to be a ton of cue for the cash..............if I wasnt going to Vegas on Monday it would be mine............maybe Sin City will leave me with enough dough for this beauty, of course it will be long gone by then.

bump for this stunning cue. It really is perfect. I've spent alot of time around this cue, and it is well worth that price! Somebody needs to buy this cue! Hopefully all of us players have a friend like mike that will help our love ones when we pass! Kevin mcclain

Is there a weight bolt in the butt? Can the weight of the butt be reduced by removing weightbolt, etc, or is it natural weighted?

I would think it would have to have a bolt. I have a JW from that vintage and the bumper is screwed into the weight bolt, so if there wasnt a bolt you couldnt keep the bumper on.

The old JW I had I had to have an aluminum bolt, drilled and tapped, to replace the steel one to reduce the weight of the cue. My cue weighed well over 20 oz and was able to get it to 19oz with the change.

If anyone wanna see pics I will try to help.

Best wishes,

There is a pending sale, if it falls through, I will answer all the above posts with questions.

Long time viewer, 1st time messaging. Even with 1/2 brain I can see this is one sweet cue. I've never picked up anything from this site, what's the process?

Normally, you would send the seller a private message with an offer to buy or trade, and he will get back to you. In this case, the seller has a sale pending, so he is waiting to see if that closes before responding to additional questions/offers etc. (see his recent post above).

You also might want to review some of the posts where transactions have gone awry to decide if escrow is needed, might make sense for two strangers and an expensive stick, some people prefer Paypal, some people hate it (pretty high fee charged to the seller), but figuring out the money exchange is another item that you have to cover with the Seller, as well as who pays shipping and insurance. Sellers usually include shipping in the listing, but not always. Also, there are transaction ratings for sellers, a bit like feedback on fleebay. hope that helps.

Sold?

Sorry if I missed this but has the cue been sold? If not then curious who did the refinish?

Thanks!
