Good job Grady. One of your best in recent times. Always fun to listen to the old pool stories. One can pick up a good tips on what shot should be taken next and why, or a shot that they didn't know about. It doesn't matter if your an D or an A player, there is always something to learn from you. Johnnyt

Bigtruck,
I agree with you. We're very fortunate to have such talented people who love our great sport.

I agree, all of the commentary was good and especially Grady. He is a character for sure.

We can't say thanks enough for intertaining games we watched all weekend. Thanks to everyone invoved both playing and behind the scenes. It gave a few of us wannabees a look at how demanding this game can be. It was interesting reading the script on the side and figuring out who some of you are. It is also cool to see people like Jay in the background.

I agree. There's nothing better in the world than watching a good one pocket match and listening to Grady's entertaining commentary. Also loved it when Shannon sat in for some commentating.

Very few have both the insights and sense of humor that Grady has. He and Buddy Hall are the tops with perspicacious commentary. Grady's voice has weakened over the years, so it's important that he has the microphone close to his mouth.

Any time Grady is talking one pocket, I want to listen.

I learned the game watching videos of the Legends tournements he set up years ago. I don't think people realize how important those tourneys were.
Some of the best videos of guys like Steve Cook, Bugs Rucker, early Daulton, Hopkins, Ervolino,etc...

Think how little remains of Worst, Mosconi, Fats, and all the other legends. Without Grady and Accu-Stats, we would never have had a chance to watch and learn the game. People wonder how guys like Morra and all the other young players learn the game so fast. Just watch the 1991 Legends tourney Accu-Stats just put out on dvd and you learn stuff old timers had to learn through years of learning the hard and expensive way.

There are very, very few people in the world who have any chance of commentating one pocket with the same amount of knowledge.
