Here is a short list of recommendations if you are looking for some great music to get your blood going for a match...

Thunderstruck – AC/DC
Tubthumping – Chambawamba
Wind It Up – Gwen Stefani
Blinded By The Light – Manfred Mann’s Earth Band
Hair Of The Dog – Nazareth
Black Betty – Ram Jam
Firestarter – The Prodigy (This song would revive the dead!)
Come Baby Come – K7
We Will Rock You – Queen
Baba O’ Riley – The Who
Pinball Wizard – The Who

Here are some great songs for those times when you are hitting balls to relax:

Crazy – Gnarles Barkley
Run Like Hell – Pink Floyd (actually, anything by PF)
Abraxas (Album) – Santana
Crash - Dave Matthews Band

So much great music, so little table time!

I'll second the tool, plus the fact that most of their songs are looong really gets you in a groove. Typically i'll listen to the stones though while driving to the pool hall.

Frankenstein - Edgar Winters
Shook me all Night Long - AC/DC
Little Wing - Stevie Ray Vaughn
Seether - Veruca Salt
Peace Pipe - Cry of Love
tons more..... too many to list

U2's Where The Streets Have No Name. One of the best intros ever always gets me going.

I am a rob zombie kinda person, in fact when i am up for a league match, i will spend the extra $$ to over ride what ever is playing for Zombie, cost extra but well worth it !!!

My Selections

1) Eye of the Tiger.

Anything by John Mellencamp
I like Kenny Chesney too.
Rack'em up.
Frank Sinatra tunes have made a comeback.
Faith Hill

Anything that is nice and easy going tune. Hate rap and metal - too distracting and headachey.

This reminds me of this poll.

For me it's: Roy Buchanan, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, BB King,...

I love the Electric Blues and Classic Rock.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!! I've got around 400 CD's, 350 of them are Blues. Two from Roy Buchanan. Several of B.B. King's. My favorite artist is a slide guitar player from ""the Land Down Under" named Dave Hole. Awesome guitarist. When I'm playin' on the home table, I like to get down with some rockin'-blues guitar music.

Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London
(repeat)

You know you've heard it too many times when you can't resist going "BIP" right after, "And his hair was perfect."

Anyway, down the hall, I put on Godzilla from Blue Oyster Cult.

On the ride to the hall or a tournament, I'm either listing to some sort of female-degrading Too Short or Pantera. If only the hall had Pantera...:p
