I was at a local tournament this weekend here in Missouri and the custom cue maker that was there that was doing repairs is a no name right now but i dont think it will be that way for too long. His name is Mitchell Thomas and he makes very unique sticks, something like no one else would think about building, but he will take orders and build you anything you want the way you want it, and he does the best leather wrap ive ever seen, there is no seam when he is done. I picked up one of his flyers while i was there and this is what it says on the back of it. Mitchell Thomas is a cabinet maker and furniture designerwho started his career at the age of 15. Mitchells many years of experience crafting custom cabinets and furniture now includes his unique ability to to design and construct some of the most visually stunning pool cues available. Each and every custom cue is hand crafted to be a one of a kind work of art produced by a truecraftsman/designer. Some of the most exotic woodsfrom around the world are used to create the beauityful design and color combinations available in these custom pool cues. The hit feel and playability of these cues are among the best available anywhere. He also stands behind his work 100%. And really the playability of these cues are really great, after i hit a few balls with 3 different sticks of his i ordered 2. They are great looking and playing cues and he is a really easy person to work with and very easy to get along with. If anyone is interested in getting in touch with Mitchell, Here is how to do so:

New cuemaker

Always nice to have new blood coming into the sport. Wood crafting guys like cabinet makers seem to transition well into cue making also. If you really want to support him I would highly suggest getting him to take pictures so you can post them in the gallery section. And also, do a review with pictures when you get your cues. I think you'll find that pictures go a long way in the forums.

In the next week or so he will also have a website, as soon as that comes along, i will let everyone know about that also.

I am meeting with Mitchell tomorrow to work out a deal to handle all of his internet sales and help him put up a website. I will let you guys know more when I have the info.

He really is very talented and I promise, everyone will know him soon!

I did put it in the wrong section i meant to put it in the main forum, i was just trying to let everyone know, i think everyone should own one of his cues. I bet almost everyone that hit a ball with one of his cues would buy one.

i agree with what Rex said!

Guys the cd's with the pictures are on the way. He didn't have a camera that is even near capable of showing of his fancier spliced cues with multi inlays. I will be taking orders for him by phone and online very soon. He isnt at all computer savy and I am going to help as much as possible

Wow, a cuemaker that doesn't use a computer. Sounds good to me. CNC inlays are not high on my list of desirable features.

Well, I didn't want to ruin the surprise but he doesn't own a CNC machine at all and if we could afford a nice enough camera, all of you will be in shock when you see his first 2 cues he ever made. Did someone say 'high quality custom low deflection shaft":wink:

Please PM me for any info as we are locking Mitchell in his shop so he can get some cues out. lol

His Jump/Break cues and LD shafts are gonna go like wildfire when people start talking. PM me for the low introductory rates and take advantage of the list not being long because it will change soon.
