It means you are a jewel in the rough. Well, at least that's what it says when you hover your mouse over your green dots.

They are "reputation points" that you gain when someone clicks the "rep" button under your post and "approves of your post".

Cuetechasaurus is in the lead for most bad rep. Hey Cuetechasaurus, have you ever gotten more than 6 red reps? I wonder if that is the most red dots you can get, or if you can get 10 red reps like you can with the green. Inquiring minds want to know...

Generally I refure to join any organization that would have me for a member. Keep the green dots.

Click on the little scales in the upper right hand corner of the person's post.

Has anyone figured out how to access all comments, as opposed to recent only?

I think it's a nice way of telling someone that you appreciate thier point of view or the information they have provided.

Why does it sometimes say..."you must spread some rep around".
Can you only give somebody 1 box a day? I gave someone a good rep and he got no extra box either...weird.

You can allow give rep to the same person once out of every 7-10 other rep points you give. The boxes represent 100 rep points, so the person receiving rep won't get a new box everytime.
