Green or blue?

I like the blue. Also, I officially HATE the red they have on the 11 tables at the college campus where I work.

Simonis had a wonderful color called BLUE-Green and the 6 ball stands out very well.
Which was actually the standard color before Simonis went to the yellowish green to set their cloth apart from everybody elses by sight. Then everyone started copying their "Simonis Green".

funny I was just thinking about this last night. I have green now..but I think I'm gonna go blue next.

Red used to be the worst. Looks bad and hurts your eyes. Then I played on a friends table. Beautiful table..played great..but he had black cloth. Horrible to play on!!!

Green is a softer color and easier on the eyes, especially with a bright light overhead. Blue has more glare and can be a bit stressful on your eyes. But if the lighting is weak (like a three bulb fixture), I would go with blue.

There is a reason why green was the color of choice for a million years in poolrooms. Players play longer, bottom line.

I prefer blue because I think it is brighter and I see the balls better. Green is a close second. I do not like any other colors especially red

I just got the 300 cloth in Delsa Blue for my billiard table. Played on all 3 colors and seems the green looks old fastest.

Red is the most worstest color for playing. I would rater be ate by a goat...

The Simonis tournament blue is the best looking cloth I've ever seen. Before I saw it, green was the only color cloth I thought had any business being on a pool table. I never thought about or have noticed eye strain coming into play for any color of cloth. There's a certain pool room I've been to where all the tables have red cloth, and it looks awful. Green and blue are the only colored cloths I like.

Blue is where it's at if ya wanna hit 'em good! It makes everything more clear and visible and reduces shadowing like nothing else. :)

Right Now I have Championship tour edition Navy Blue Cloth. I like it, but it shows wear very fast. Has anyone played on the Championship light blue cloth, does it compare with Simonis TV blue

I prefer green.. i like the blue just like the green better. As for eye fatigue for me the color doesn't make much difference as i seem to get on both colors but its usually depends on how long i play to how bad it is.

Pool tables are GREEN!

Some things shouldn't be messed with and pool tables are GREEN! :groucho:

I agree. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to equipment. Also, the 4 ball should be purple, and the cue ball should only have ONE red dot, imo.

I went with Royal Blue Simonis 860 because it matched the color I painted the skirts and rails (Corvette - Electron BLue Metallic).

It shows wear too fast and is too dark!!

I will be going with Tourney Blue next time it is recovered.

Russ....

Pool tables are green. If you like pretty colors, change the tablecloth on your dining room table. I don't have a dining room table. I have a pool table in my dining room, and it's green!:D

Blue To Green

I have tournament blue simonis cloth on the tables in my room and the only thing I don`t like is the fact that it shows more chalk messes and dirty hand prints than the green.

I probably will go back to green next recovering.
But I might have a customer vote to see what they like most.

I got a new table on the condition my wife could pick cloth color.

Dark Red it is.

I would prefer to have green on new diamond table.
