green or red predator sneakies

Jude, NewStroke,

Green were left handed cues, and Red was right handed. Which is why you're getting such mixed results.

Green when Falcon in Canada was OEM, and Red when the production moved to China.

The green cues work best for 'follow' shots. The red cues, obviously, work best for 'stop' shots. The yellow cues are for those who are undecided as to which shot to make.

are the colors the only changes or does one play better than the other?

I prefer the green 'cause they were closer to their wood supply.
I think all the sneakies hit the best of the Predators. They look like
true splice.
Mind you ,i can't tell what color i'm playing with lately.
....i'm shooting lights out....

Green because they have a reputation beyond repute. Red could lead to you getting banned from the poolroom. Choose wisely my friend.

Yea your right....I'm a lefty and I got perfect results from the two green sneakies I had....right handed cues shoot awful anyways:p

I am pretty certain (was told by an old hustler) that the red is for 9 and the green is for 8 ball. Eight ball players become green with envy when they look over at the red-hot 9 ball shooters.

Lol... great thread all... keep it going

The green veneer predator sneaky petes were offered with a 5/16, which is imperial unit of measurement. When production moved to china, a metric country, the red were only offered in uniloc. This explains why the green comes in either type of joint, but not the red.

poolplayer2093,

Green were OEM by Falcon in Canada, offered in 5/16 and Uniloc, with 314 and Z shaft. Red are manufactured in China, uniloc only, and 314, 314-2, Z, Z2 shaft. The 5/16 are flat faced, and Uniloc piloted.

Some people think the 314 shafts made in the US were better. The 314-2 have reports of cracked ferrules.

The facts

You guys got it all wrong. I have owned both green and red. Green is by far the better. They both were available in uniloc but the red ones have phenolic in the joint which I did not like the green is true wood to wood with an orignal z or 314 shaft the red came with 314 2 and z2 which had phenolic in the shaft as well. The green wood to wood is a much better hitting cue.

My local dealer is colorblind so he refuses to stock them as he can't tell
which is which:D

Mine Predator is green because I am mostly greengo:yes:. As far as which one plays better....I tried a red once and thats the color I turned:angry:.
