No kidding, how about you are Ron Thomas, been dealing through INDYQ for years and now he puts a huge banner on his page "don't buy ron thomas cases"

on a positive note, the GTF cases look great.

Ouch!! Guess that says a lot about loyalty to someone who has helped you make a living for many years. New kid on the block offers a few more dollars/better discount, and you get kicked to the curb.

I don't like it either...

But here is what I know to be true...
1. More and more we are going to find goods manufactured in foreign countries.
2. More and more we are going to find that those goods are of comparable or better quality to anything that is manufactured in the U.S.A.
3. More and more we are going to find goods that are manufactured in foreign countries are available at a very reasonable price (I'm not condoning how they are able to achieve that price!).
Whether it is willingly or kicking and screaming, we are being made part of a global economy whether we like it or not.
This is very much by design.
There is a reason that the biggest Communist country in the world (China) is embracing capitalistic enterprise.
You and I may believe we have a choice in the matter but if we do, it is not a very big one believe me. :mad:
 
STOP THIS THREAD!!! The GTF website that was just posted is not the official GTF website for GTF Designs and I am trying to figure out how it got put up. It was a sample submitted to us by a web designer that we did not accept. It is clear it is an incomplete draft as it has no prices and inventories that are humongus. It states we have 1000 units of each case. This is just too bizarre! I don't believe in conspiracies, but this almost looks like some type of sabotage. And yes, our official website will clearly state our product is Made in China! As for IndyQ, they were our first authorized dealer. I had hoped our website would have been up before his postings, but that is okay. At least you can see what is currently available.

Thomas should not be surprised. Malott has been slandering Engles cases for years. I,as well as others here have seen the proof that Malott received the cases he says Engles did not send. Fact is,he got them,and sent them back,and Sam has the Fed-ex reciepts to prove what I have just said. He would have dumped Thomas then,if he could have, for Engles.I challenge him to come here and dispute the truth I have just stated.
Now he throws Thomas under the bus,a good man,who makes fine cases. Soon,I expect to see some slanderous diatribe about Thomas that will be just as bogus as the one about Engles.

Thanks for the heads-up...there seems to be just too much nefarious activity on the internet these days. Please do post the correct URL for your site when it is completed.

I, too, feel that the big, bold statement on the front page of Roy's site was a bit outta line, considering the long-term relationship Roy has had with Ron, and his cases. One would have thought that there would have been some loyalty there. Perhaps it's time for Ron to go the way of many cuemakers these days, and just begin exclusively selling his cases direct. In this way, he can control the pricing, as well as how his cases are being presented.
