His being banned from every forum out there has nothing to do with his far-fetched claims. It has to do with the fact that he completely takes these forums over by posting ridiculous amounts of posts where most are filled with over-the-top, personal insults toward anyone who has the audacity to have an opinion that differs from his. Take a little trip over to rec.sport.billiards if you want to see it in action. He posts to that newsgroup under multiple names and then, when he has no one left to argue with, his aliases start arguing with each other! And I mean that literally!

I had enough of him too last the rest of my life, :( he is truly a very sad person ! I hope someone helps him to get some professional help!

Eric gave him some professional help a while back but it didn't seem to completely fix the problem! :D

I don't know but I finally got to meet Eric in person at Hollywood Billiards a few weeks ago and he seems like a totally nice guy.
 
Larry has absolutely no self control, no social skills, and IMO he's 2 sandwiches shy of a picnic. If I ever see him in person again I will shove his cell phone far up his a$$ (along with a spitshined size 11 Wide) in retaliation for all of the telephone harassment he has given me over the past year and a half. He is a complete embarrassment to the game of pool, the pro tour, and he diminishes the class of any event he attends or competes in. He is nothing more than a sideshow with little or no entertainment value.

Well dave... i hate to be the bearer of bad news but he was at it again over on the ccb under the name rangoonkid and joeblow..both now banned. now, under a name ,shogun, (another alias) under the Heading of "joeblow says good bye", he went on a tirade because he got banned and bashed everybody including you and some women that you know... I know that you take it with a grain of salt. but this man is getting way out of control. it is to bad that he can't be sued somehow....sorry dave to bring this to your attention. but i tried to send it by pm and could'nt. so please don't be upset with me.........mike
 
When I started reading this thread, I thought FL stood for FLatulence.

Apparently, I was wrong but not far from the truth.

The same. Sadly, he is not completely bullshit, he has done a few for the record books, but what intrinsic value in the end is holding the "world record" for shooting 11-rails jumping 5 poptarts placed near the left-sidepocket after the 4th rail more times than anybody else in the world? For this he demands respect and brags about his stroke and triumphant world tours? Shall he donate his arm to science? In addition to not taking it well when people start laughing at him. He is not completely wrong, but not completely right in the head, either.

Fast Larry resembles the eccentrically orbiting comet periodically looping around, providing brief though erratic illumination, and while a widely viewed spectacle, he eventually takes leave and returns to cosmic insignificance amidst the fading echoes of snarky giggles.

Am not certain, but he may be responsible for one lasting testament to video, the infamous "Double jump shot" which I can't currently find on youtube. The plan was to video two guys simultaneously jumping cueballs from diagonal corners, the cue balls to meet mid-table and smack back into the corner pockets... perfection, but they met at different heights, one cueball smashing the flourescent light tube, fade to black amidst the tinkling of falling glass.... classic.

Yep, that's our boy alright. It's immortalized on the AccuStats Highlights/Bloopers 1 tape along with one other FL feat - I think it's the one where he jumps the cueball from one table and makes a 6-ball trick shot on another.

I actually enjoyed a lot of his more philosophical posts - in spite of the massive self-promotions they always included - but I had to filter him and his alter-egos on RSB just so I could keep up with the messages there. If only his many and varied personalities wouldn't fall out and start fighting...

lmao..........hey i just had a great idea........lets ALL become world record holders. Im going to jump over 4 tictacs, 2 m&m's and a stick of juicy fruit gum to make the 9 ball in the corner. We can post em up on youtube and we will all have "pool world record holder" in our sig line.....if larry comes back he will really feel like he fits in :)
 
I'm watching.

When I can prove it, FL is gone as soon as I'm satisfied it is him regardless of the name.

If it is him, he won't be able to keep the genie in the bottle for long and he'll be gone just as quick as ever.
