Nobody should be allowed to speak their minds on or off this forum. Nobody should even be allowed to think their own thoughts. You must love Big Brother.

I don't think it should've been made in the first place.....

Let sleeping dogs lay.... (or whatever that saying is)

Dave's opinion:

Polls regarding the removal or other discipline are inflamatory.

This is not a democracy. It is private property.

Why not go into your favorite bar and try and start a poll regarding someone who was thrown out?......because you'd probably end up joining them.

For that matter, free speech or not, if the owner of that bar didn't like your opinion, he could tell you to hit the bricks.

Private property.

Would anyone think it was cool for a guest in you home to take a vote second guessing your decisions in your own home?

I seriously doubt it.

banned

OK, guys, for what it's worth, why not drop the whole thing. After all it's Mike's choice, and none of the members affairs to when or who gets banned. Rule are rules, Mike set them up, it's his baby, so stop crying about who got banned.
No one has to agree, but it's not our choice.
Get off this band wagon.

I have spoken my mind in each of my 3000+ posts and I haven't been banned yet. Leads me to conclude that speaking your mind isn't grounds for banishment around here. Mike doesn't ban people for speaking their minds, but for communicating with a lack of dignity and with a pattern of disrespect for others. I won't pass judgment on whether those that have been disciplined by Mike deserved it. Mike does the best he can and that's good enough for me.

I agree

with you, sjm, as I almost always do. Mike gets put into a 'darned if you do'
or 'darned if you don't' position, and he does the best he can, and uses good
logical thinking, so I think Mike deserves the benefit of the doubt. He does a
big job on AZB, and I do appreciate it, and probably don't tell him near as often
as I should.
