My dear pal NY Larry is celebrating his 92nd birthday today! :happydance::dance::happy-birthday:

He has the most silky smooth stroke you could imagine and why wouldn't he? He's been working on it for like 85 freakin' years. :groucho::grinning-moose:

He's been complaining a lot over the past year or so about his eyes, they're too dry, they're too wet, begging the question from me and many others: 'Then why do the object balls keep whistling in center pocket?' :grin-square:

Happy birthday, Larry! You are definitely one of a kind!

best,
brian kc

Happy birthday, Mr Gendler....looks like you’re gonna run a hundred again.

I wish I can live this long. Please share your long life secrets.
Happy Birthday, Larry. Aim for the century :D

Clean livin' and playin' pool...recipe for a good long life! Happy Birthday NY Larry! I look forward to seeing you sometime at the pool room. I was supposed to be visiting my friends Mitch and Brian this week, who play in Southington too! Unfortunately my wife fell and broke her hip, requiring hip replacement surgery, and I needed to stay home to care for her. Keep on keepin' on Larry! I'll catch you next time! Incidentally, my oldest student ever was 99...so you have a few years to go yet! May you have all good rolls, sir!

Birthday

I met NY Larry a while back, i was picking up a shaft from him. Not knowing
him when i entered the room i asked what table he was on.
We meet. and exchanged pleasantries.

We hit a few balls and NY Larry shows me some wicked position moves for 9 ball.
i say i don't play 9 ball but it doesn't really doesn't really matter his position play and stroke are beautiful to watch.
So we put our cues down and our conversation begins we sit and talk for about an hour. it was wonderful hour, we are both from NY a lot of old school stuff.

Wishing NY Larry many run outs and the happiest of Birthdays.
