Has anyone every heard about a Guy Named Fast larry Guninger, I received an email from this guy asking me if I have a problem with him, or did he make me mad some how.

I have never heard of the guy, if anyone knows him let me know!!

Thanks craig

Or maybe he is a complete toolbox. From what I hear about him, the email you received from him is not unusually behavior for him.

Is this a joke Craig? Now you will get another 500 (make that 3000) emails from him talking about how you must have heard of him and are just trying to insult him with the question.

i hate to be negative

but ive watched him play, hes horrible and claims to be one of top 50 upa pros etc.he also says he has like 20 world records at pool.

this is whats wrong with pool anybody can say their pro and there is noway to tell whos full of it.lol
sick thing is he probably makes 6 figures like the other trick shot guys who cant play either all the while claiming to be one of the top poolplayers in the world.
his website is completely comical ,he claims to be a top player and he can barely run a rack.amazing

Yep. Just like another "UPA" player who can't beat me and yet snaps up all the exhibition requests that he can get based on being a "UPA Professional"

Been banned from several pool/billiard web sites for his behavior/attitude. If you disagree with him he will begin spouting all kinds of ridiculous nonsense. Noted for spewing christian bible quotations and homophobic insults in the same sentence. On the newsgroup rec.sport.billiard he was famous for insulting everyone in sight, getting ignored, and coming up with countless new identities so everybody would have to continue to read his lies about his prowess as a player, his relationships with well known players, his opinions about everything, especially god, religion, homosexuality, etc. Like many others here, I've gone head to head with him about his crap and been called filthy names, etc.
He insulted one guy to the point that he was confronted at Valley Forge {last time he was invited, I think} and punches were thrown. Larry cried like a baby for security, this after claiming to be black belt in Karate.
As I told another poster recently who quoted him, probably the most despised player on the planet. Craig, please do not do anything other than ignore the guy, he's more trouble than he's worth. He has a history of stalking people on the Internet. There are many other people here who can attest to this.
One more thing, people who have met Larry in person and say he's ok have never seen the crazy, incoherent side of him. I've been told he acts different in person but that can't make up for his online insanity.

There are plenty of pool players that were former pros that still declare themself a pro as well. It would be like Muhammed Ali calling himself a professional boxer or Hank Aaron calling himself a professional baseball player. At one time, they were the greats of the professional game but not any longer.

He did however send me his VHS tape when I asked for it one time. Can't remember if I watched it or not. Wonder if I still have it...

I like the way he throws his cue on the table after a successful trick shot. Now THAT'S style!!

Scott <<== has met the guy in person

Eric.

You've got to admit, you are the only player I know that can claim to have had an 'Up close and personal, contact' with the infamous Fast Larry.

and BTW, Fast Larry's dawg shoots better than FL does.

"Contact" being the key word ;)

Eric
