Hatch v. Dechaine. I would pay to see them play again, wouldn't you?

I think this was an exciting match and although a lot of talk is being made about the behavior of the players, it was a great match-up that could easily go the other way and lead to a third set. In sport their will always be competitive banter back and forth between opponents. I am happy that pool is no different. What would the UFC, boxing, poker be without the antics and episodes of the combatants.....boring.

Yes, I'd pay to see a rematch. It's the pool I'm interested in; position routes, strategy, fundamentals. I'm not interested in the drama though. As off-putting as he may be to some because he's quiet and doesn't gamble, I enjoy watching Ralf play.

The only reason I would not pay to see this again, is because I would hope JUstin decided to not give either one of these guys another dime. Give the money to guys that act like professionals.

I would not watch that same match-up for free. I would watch Mike against another player and maybe even the same with Dennis. Johnnyt

Honestly, I'd not watch them again if it were free.. Just being honest!

Truth be known, I would pay double what I paid last time to see the same match-up, same rules, same format, including the mic's. Just have them switch chairs (yes, where they sit). And yes I would buy it for the pool shooting. Great match. Great intensity. I think after three days, they are actually tied, or very close to it...

Peace.

For some reason the way Mike walks around the table and the expressions on his face really annoy me. Admittedly, I'm annoyed easily but I received a dvd of the month from Accustats with him in it and found he had no cool factor for me.

I do like drama tho.

I would buy another TAR stream with Dennis but I don't really care about watching Mike again.

Yes.

I would pay to see these two great champions play again.

I feel some of the "Shark" was merely emotion, anger and disappointment, not at the opponent but at themselves.

I think Dennis was more pissed off at himself than at Mike and the same with Mike.

When your performance is not up to par with your expectations is can be very unsettling.

I agree with the OP 100%. I would watch again.
I think I missed the part where little old ladies and puppies that were being beaten.

Glad you said it first. Mike does annoy the hell out of me as well. Cocky and lippy and you can't tell him anything. He's got a lot of maturing to do. He doesn't know what he doesn't know. Reminds me of me when I was his age.

God bless you Mikey...I do really like you because I can tell you are good hearted..

I would enjoy seeing a rematch of the two, the games were even I believe after 3 days so in my opinion they are a great match. I do think they should have a curse jar or something where if they do they have to throw $20 into it and then its donated to charity or something.

I guess I'm just astonished that these two guys would not see the potential payday in becoming the next Shane when it comes to TAR. Hatch could have certainly become the "King of the Hill" or whatever and got the same offer to play someone else and Mike could have as well.

I don't see that happening now. However if this turns out to be a profitable venture for TAR I bet you will see Shane getting a free shot at the dough several times.

I would if...

I would watch if it was a partners Hatch & Schmidt vs Dechaine and Harriman

Nonono, the hatred would be so much worse when you partner them up with each other and then do scotch doubles... hatch blows his shape and hooks mike, mike swears at him and misses his kick, hatch bìtches that mike missed the kick as a partner when he never misses it as an opponent... solid gold.

I'd watch it again, I'm a little baffled by the people who are genuinely bothered or offended by players not acting professional. Maybe they're the types who think professionalism is the magic bullet that's been missing from pool for the past few decades, and it will suddenly surge in popularity if the players would just keep quiet, wear thier polos, and politely shake hands.
