I think it's obvious BS is a total douchebag but its equally obvious he doesn't care. The threads don't bother me in the least. Unfortunately, they clearly have no impact an BS either.

Is this no longer satisfying to you or are you hearing crickets?? If you are asking us then your probably getting tired of it all. If it is all about Miami or whatever his name is then just take up a collection and buy him a cue, present it and move on.

Look at it this way, my grandfather made a few promises he chose not to keep as he got older. Not sure how old Stroud is but he may have something similar going on. Hopefully this stuff will be forgotten and Strouds name will rebound.

We live in a democracy so I think it's fair to get my fellow az'ers input on whether or not you think I should continue these Stroud-related posts.

And, btw, who knows but it seems doubtful that Bill will ever come through with DYD winner, mhaimi's cue, but I always thought it was worth reminding the community of what Bill did (actually didn't do).

It seems odd to me that after this colossal bad deed, that he (Bill) gets to come on here and post, as well as attend and compete in pool tourneys, as if nothing like this ever happened.

Well, anyway, maybe I've lost all objectivity and I know the community is divided on this subject so I'm thinking here's what I should do.

I'm asking the question in this poll and if the majority of az voters say I should stop posting about this, then that is exactly what I'll do.

Wherever this poll stands on this coming Tuesday morning, March 12th, at 10 am, will dictate whether I ever start another Stroud/DYD-related thread.

You can (and probably will) ride this dead horse into the ground. But do you honestly believe he should be banned from the forums or from tournament play because he disappointed some people???

I've been "mad" at him (as mad as I get anyway) for years over a couple of issues. This free cue is not one of them.

So, all these people who disappoint you, do you drudge it up every couple of months and dwell upon it? Do you drive over to ex-girlfriends houses to yell at the car they drove to sleep with the other guy they cheated with?

Seriously, nobody is saying this was a good thing that happened. I think that there are a few people (i.e. you and chicken) who need to bathe in this garbage, to keep that wound fresh. I think that there are a lot of people who only ever think about it when it is brought back up and then get irritated by it.

Why you need to carry around the pain of this is beyond me, but that is your business and not mine.

When you feel like you need to dredge this up and spread your pain to others on this forum, that is something else and should be for the community to deal with.

As I've said, I find it fascinating. I kind of feel like Jane Goodall, if she were able to communicate with the gorillas. I was raised to not dwell upon unfortunate situations...I've never had friends who would carry something this petty with them for years on end. This really is something which is foreign to me and I like learning about new things.

So, yes, please keep weeping here. At this point I think it says as much about you as it ever did about BS.

The fascinating part of this whole thing is many here, and you in particular, get so upset by people trying to keep even a little pressure on this subject.

Its not like it gets brought up daily, or even weely. Every few weeks, it seems.

Why do you bother to click on the thread if it bothers you so much? I learned a long time ago that a thread started by Pangit wasn't anything I wanted to read, so I didn't go into that thread. I didn't go in and make a fit. Again, why must you even bother, there are dozens of other threads to read. It seems you like the fight.

Oh well. It appears that my posts bother you, sorry about that. I try to be reasonable, and fair. What I don't do is consistently spout negativity everytime I post here. If that's how you enjoy yourself, well, good for you.

If it was having any effect I would say keep it up. Not sure if it has since I really haven't followed the issue.

If it hasn't done anything positive I say bury it. I'm fairly certain BS has ignored the issue for the most part.

If I were the winner I'd be incredibly disappointed, but in the end they didn't lose a dime.
