Have you ever had some experiences in both BCM and Mark Smith cue?

Rick Howard is in your price range!

I might also suggest Rick Howard for an excellent playing cue at a way-underrated price point.

I have one available in the for ale section now => http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=167339 <=, but if you want one that does not break down above the wrap, he can do those as well of course. He starts at $750 for custom cues and works up from there.

Ask anyone who has one- they play great!

Mark Smith Custom Cues

I have to say that Mark Smith makes a damn good cue. Everyone i have seen around arkansas have been top notch cues. He never does a bad job and is fairly reasonable last i heard. He also runs a pool room in russelville called beezers. He was in the blue book of pool cues as well and has been fortunate to meet with Ron Haley. So i think your getting a good cue for the price. There is alot of good cuemakers from arkansas. I can name about twelve.

700 should get you a lot of BCM cue..Howards are nice, but i think they're up in the price range some, not sure you can get a pointed Howard for 700. I don't know anything about Mark Smith cues

Bcm

I have never hit with or seen a Mark Smith up close and have not heard anything bad about them but I have had many BCM's and they are great cues. Bryan is very easy to deal with and his work is some of the nicest out there.
