Hello Ken, I touched on these cues in the other thread and I do not think they were made by Richard Helemstetter. I beleive these cues were nothing more than a limited production series, since they do not bear Richard Helmstetters signature. When these cues were made David Foreman was no longer involved with Adam Custom cues, in fact I believe he have died before 1989. During this time frame the company brand names were being imported by a Company out of New York called Competition Sports. If I were you I would contact them directly they are still in business and still selling billiards supplies, but they no longer have any control of Adam Custom Cues. In 2004 Jed Foreman, Davids son took back control of the company Adam Custom Cues along with all it's lines, including the Balabushka Series from them. He is running the company today and he may also be able to give you more information about your cue, he is certainly a great guy whom I have been doing business with since 2004.
