A good friend of mine purchased this cue from a guy who bought it second hand in the early 1980's. The base wood is Brazilian rosewood and it a full splice cue. The cue was just refinished by Dennis Searing who commented on how well the blank was made for an old cue. It was Dennis who identified the base wood. Any info would be appreciated. By the way, my friend was told that it was a Burton Spain when he bought it. The cue was purchased as a butt only, so both the shafts are made by Dennis and can't be used to ID the cue. The cue likely looks better now that it did was it was made, I'm not kidding.
Thanks again,
