Well all Joel finished and sent my cue. Got to love FED X. Now to play it, its FLAWLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a great looking cue and I like the veneer colors a lot. Is the lion scrimmed or lasered ?. You won't be dissapointed with the hit, Joel's cues are players. Congrats.

Tommy thanks for the comments it is etched I believe not scrimshawed. It is still the first one Joel has done like this as most just have an out line done or so he told me. I am looking forward to taking it for a spin.
 
Tommy I forgot to mention that Joel had never used that combination of verneer colors before. I believe they are subtle and add without over powering the cue.

It's definitely not a design i would ever come up with but i can certainly appreciate the level of creativity and craftsmanship that went into the making of this cue. Importantly it's nice to hear that the cue is gonna be played with. Congrats to the owner! :wink:

Is it stained maple or did he find you a real nice piece of heartwood maple - looks great, love the honey color.

Very Unique & Interesting Cue, Congrats ! ! ! I've never had one of Joel's cues but I'm really glad you didn't have his typical inlays or arrow things that he does above the points, It looks so much better without those just like you have it. Enjoy.
