Hercek on eBay

hmmmm looks real...but it will be removed pretty quick cuz of the "ivory"word.....only 3 feedbacks..all from buyers no seller feedback......i would be very carefull......

wow bid up 800.00+.....hmmmmmm.....i would pass...might be legit...but why take the chance?....alot of people on ebay have friends bid up the price, no way anyone's going to get a steal.no returns,no seller feedback.....PASS

Emailed seller....He will not do escrow and says cue is unsigned......Hmmmmmmm!!!!

I'd stay away too, but I don't think Joel has signed more than a couple cues all time

If this was one of his first ten, would it not have the pin in the shaft?

Joint caps don't show it...

I would avoid like the plague personally.

Hello everyone...

I built that cue in 1995 for a friend of a friend. It's a full splice ebony that I brought the ebony all the way down to the butt. (customer request) I normally add the extra splice to the full splices. The seller is not the original owner, not sure who the seller is, we have not had any conversation about the cue. It's my 33rd cue and the joint is not the reverse joint (Spain Joint) like I did for my first ten.
If anyone buys the cue, please send it to me for a refinish, I can't stand looking at those chips in the butt cap. :) Other then that, it is one of my very early cues.

Joel Hercek

Seller says he has offers of $7500.
So bring a wheel barrow full of cash if you want it.

Thats kinda odd seeing how he has the reserve set at " 1/4 of what its worth ". Its also not one of the first ten cues Joel made like he said and Joel has never spoke to him, also like the seller said he had. If he turned down $7500 then does he think the cue is worth $30K. I did'nt see any " I reserve the right to end this auction early " in his listing so is he going to bid the cue way up if it's not at $7500 by the end of the auction. Some people dont think things through before they list something. It's obviously a Hercek and it's a shame its being sold this way.
