Mr. Wilson, IMO, was dared. He warned and warned. He then offered an option.
The decision was made with full knowledge of the consequences. He was given a choice and should live with his decision, just as Mr. Wison has to live with his.
I feel it isn't fair to ask Mr. Wison to compromise his already very difficult decision. There comes a point where the madness has to stop.
I've never met Dave Wilson, but I would wager that he has lost his sleep over this too. That is one of the reasons he is in this position, I would furtherly wager.
To get to my point, I feel this is a battle he can't lose. But then again, nobody wins.

My idea was in support of Mr Wilson, as He could show that he still cares ( which I VERY MUCH believe he does, or he would just quit ) and put all the burden on Jimbo. One of the things I have learned the hard way in Pastoring , is most times my ideas for a church are usually met with resistance, but if I make my idea someone elses before I bring it forth , it then has very little problems being implemented
I dont credit for it,( but if credit is what you are looking for , then Pastoring is the wrong place to look

HAVE A GOOD NEW YEAR IRONMAN
I never had a problem with him until he made the post that I call a "sucker punch". I also did not mention or even come close to referencing him since that thread but as you can see, he brings it up.quitecoolguy said:Okay,,,I have met both Timberly and Purdman in real life..and to be honest both of you are really nice people. I have seen the tension between you two grow and have seen uy take pot shots at each other. I saw the post about Derby City by purdman
I'm not a psychiatrist so I'll refrain from saying what I think is going on. I can however, point out his own words and actions.Brickman said:Well IMHO I think Purdman has went through some changes in the last few months in the way he handles himself. If I am not mistaken he apologized for some things a while back and has chosen to to represent himself in a different manner.....SOOOO that could be why he seems like he has flip flopped, because he has, but not in a Hypocratic way. He simply has changed his way of posting....and again I may be totally off or confusing him with someone else.

To tell you the truth, I have seen her at work and it is sickening. I was going to go to the DCC this year, however, not with her running anything. I wouldn't go if Timberly was handing out towels in the mens room. I know this ain't gonna make me very popular with those who's azz she is constantly kissing. I just can't take it anymore. If you don't want to do it, don't volunteer for it!! Just stop bit@hing about it.

You didn't upset me, and I appreciate your kind words. I just wanted to point out how this "issue" is nothing that I started, nor asked for and while some might not think he flip flops, I think his actions prove that he does. IMO, someone who claims to be such a great, charitable, turned around person, he sure as heck didn't show me any niceties. LOL, if I had been rude, mean, or anything to him, his flip flop actions against me might make sense. I've got my idea's but I've also got a little more class about me and I won't voice those idea's here on the forum but I will say that they have nothing to do with me... I haven't done anything.quitecoolguy said:Hey Timberly
I hope i didn't upset you at all ..i enjoy your post..as well as purdman... i just wanted to defend the two of you by saying you both are decent people in real life..thats all.. I hate to see anyone argue...People can see from my posting that when i do have issue with people..which is rare..but when i do i am very quick to come to some solution so that negativity doesn't continue..thats all...i know we all are different people and personalities can bump heads..i just hope it all gets resolved some how, that all i was saying..
And you have a happy and safe ..and PEACEFUL new year as well take care and God Bless..and hope to see you in Richmond again.![]()

Harvywallbanger said:Heres the problem. You have 3 types of posters that everyone can fit into.
1. A poster that looks at these forums as fun and entertaining and once they turn off the comp. its water under the bridge. Mostly these are the posters that can come off being an asshole sometimes because they are just having fun and if they met you in person they would laugh about it as it "was just an internet forum" and buy you beer.
2. A poster that takes these forums seriously and represent their real life personna with their post. These posters get upset on here and they're still upset once they turn off the comp. because to them this is just as real as talking to you in person.
3. An asshole PERIOD! In person or on here they are just an asshole.
Conclusion: Poster 1 and poster 2 will NEVER see eye to eye on here even though they might be equally good fellas. I myself fall into poster type 2 99% of the time ON HERE although on different forums I have posted stuff just to have fun and eventually got the ban being poster type 1.
Mr. Wilson is a poster type 2. So if you are a 1 you need to compansate and start being more yourself before you get the boot as well. No biggie.

watchez said:Pastor, maybe you could say a prayer for Purdman so he can walk a straight line & find the correct path.
You say Purdman has changed the way he handles himself but if you read the post from Timberly above, it seems like he has flip flopped the other way towards her in a negative light. It is sooo confusing. Pastor a prayer for help if you have the time.
Have a good New Year Brickman.
quedup said:Brickman I concur completely. Mr. Purdy does seem to have turned a new page. Many do remember the issues with Mr. Bludworth and with Mr. Wilson and perhaps others. Many of these issues are now apparently resolved amicably and to the credit of all involved. My hat is off to them, changing is never easy and he for one has done so in a positive way! If some other posters could do the same things would be much more civil here on AZ...

Timberly said:Like most on here, I'm sick of the drama... all of it. This ridiculous BS with Purdman, the whole Wilson thing, and being vilified for my efforts with the DCC room. I've already scaled back posting and will continue to scale it back even more. I'm here through Derby simply because of my involvement with the private room. After that, there will be one less "narcissistic wanna be groupie" around here.
Happy freaking new yr everyone.
