Some guys on here are ****ing ridiculous with your trade demands and asking prices for cues. How dumb do you think people are. I saw one cue sell for $800 and some clown is asking $1199 for it now, (99) like its a supermarket, do people go around your neighborhood with dumb signs on the forehead and now you can get everyone else here. nnother****a please!!!!!!!!!! and yes I do have a 0 itrader, how the **** can I trust these clowns who think they can get someone. Most here are fair, but shit man, it seems like all I like are owned by mongoloids who watched the color of money one to many times.:confused:

There are good deals here to be had if you look around. I bought a nice Player cue for $575!

I don't play with it much since it's just so nice and would rather keep the decals looking flawless for years to come. It's an investment really!!;)

Oh, bout forgot to mention the Miller Lite cue! It was a steal at only $250 but I have learned that in order to look like a newbie and preserve my hustler image, cost doesn't matter!!

Happy Hunting!!

I go around with signs on my forehead all the time, especially at the "supermarket"
How do you expect to sell cues at the supermarket market without a sign on your forehead?
I have actually seen cues sold in a supermarket parking lot, and that's no shit.

I would be careful what you say around here. Haven't you seen the "show us your piece" thread?

I was just telling a buddy I liked this cue for 1200. He looked at it and said it's 12000 silly.

Oscar, I guess I might kinda get what ur saying but really how can you fault someone for trying to make a buck? Same as anything else - cars, bikes, guns, whatever if someone's asking price is out of line then they may just not sell the item but one thing is for certain - you do not have to buy item. I have no idea bought the buyer nor the item nut it is also possible that sometimes people ask more than what they may actually want to allow some room for negotiations and god knows vast majority of the time regardless of item folks are gonna try to beat ya up on the price - which they are also entitled to do as well. Anyhow Oscar u are absolutely entitled to your opinion and I respect that however I do not really understand as to why your upset about this.

Ps - Oscar it sounds as if u may be in the market for a cue and I do have one for sale that I have not posted as of yet cause I still haven't figured out how to post the pics. Its a REALLY NICE Players cue that I bought of of Seyberts a couple months ago for $72.00. I got such a good deal cause it was half off since it was a discontinued model and they only had 2 left - then gone forever!!! Anyhow I figure since they will never be making this particular model again it is now a collectible therefore value must have increased so I will take only $600 for it. Pm if interested thanks.

An example of the aforementioned $800 cue that is now listed for $1199. There are some cues that members wished they would have gotten for $800 that are worth much much more than that now. Keep in mind, they are generally made by custom cue makers.

Honestly, it is difficult to determine if your indignation is justified or not. When it comes to custom cues...many lose their values, some hold their values, and a very small few gain in values. Dependent on the supply vs demand aspect of any given maker's cues.

I bought my cue in an Electronics store.
Can anybody top that?

The man has a point ...sort of.

Any cue bumped every 48 hours for 2 months without a price drop is overpriced. That describes 75% of the WFS section. Add in another 10% priced completely out of reality.

So there are still 10% priced fairly, perhaps with room to haggle. Another 5% priced to move, but they sell in days not months.

Or...it could be that there are a lot of new members who want something for nothing.

Baby you mean me? I know a thing or two about all this.

Actually the problem is just the opposite of what you suggest. People holding on to on values that will never be seen again is the problem and capitulation is the only remedy.

While a bit harsh. The OP does have a point. The market is not what it once was.

Yes, and that would put them in the Wentzler category.

And no one should want to be a Cue Wentzler.
