I will take that into consideration. I would love to see you get rid of that Cuetech and get a real cue.:D Or have you kicked it up a notch and got a Lucassi?:p

Maybe you would like my Richard Black or Kikel or my Huebler Custom or maybe my Tim Scruggs, or maybe my one of my Titlist conversions by Mike Web, Andt Gilbert or Jim Buss. My Edwin Reyes pair looks pretty fine too. Here, pick one out.
Purdman:rolleyes:

Nice collection. Maybe you should sell them all so you won't feel the need to tell everyone in every post you make that you just lost your job after 16 years. I will give you $2000 for them all, and throw in my cuetech. Send me your resume too. My human resources director is always looking for yard boys and janitors.

It wouldn't to someone like you. One day you will fully understand.

I don't get this statement, "to someone like you". You always feel the need to cast stones at someone and then when someone else expresses their opinions on an open forum you berate them and try to make them feel bad for having a different view than you. Maybe that's why you lost your job. Karma my friend, Karma.

No one is casting any stones, nice try though. You take everything the wrong way buddy. That is because you have many issues you need to deal with. I was trying to be polite and not bring your unconciousness to light here. I am very much aware of what Karma is my friend. You also reap what you sow. Also my friend, vengence is mine says the Lord. That is what Karma is all about. You have a very negative perception of everything you hear and see. That is your problem. If you understood the reality of Karma, you would have understood my first post that you replied to. Figure that one out. Also my friend, please do not asssume that I think I am perfect. I have a ways to go. The beauty of it is, we all do and we are all going to the same place. I speak from my heart most of the time, however, my ego does surface now and then. Your's never seems to take a break.
I am 57 years old and do not need to work for the rest of my life if I so choose. So no thanks to the job offor. I don't need it. Have fun in the corporate world buddy. I have removed the chains and no longer have to try and pick up a turd from the clean end. That is the illusion that you have to live with. I am sorry for that.
Later , Peace Bro., Purdman

Nope! I haven't had a toke in a while. When I did, you have never seen anything like it unless you spent a lot of time in Amsterdam.
I learned all there was to learn from dope. I don't knock anybody who does what I have done a million times. We all go thru what we have to to learn our lessons. That's Life's Lessons my friend. Try reading a little Elizebeth Huebler Ross instead of that Marvel collection of yours.;)
Peace My Brother, Purdman
This is kinda fun, don't ya think. Man I get to be here with my wonderful wife all day, go down in the basement and shoot all the pool I want, cook my dry aged Black Angus steaks on the Webber Gennesis and banter with you. What more could a poor guy do!!!!:D You got a problem with Deepak, take it up with him.

They put the guy I hired in my place. He makes less than half my pay. God bless him my friend. I was really geting tired of hanging around my office. My wife was praying about a month ago about feeling like being in a rut. She got what she asked for and is fine with it. What a gal man. I wish everybody had a wife like mine.

You have definitely got it made my friend. I have to sit here in my office all day and play internet poker, sometimes even talk business to someone and all I get in return is 150K a year. After my long day of AZ Billiards and poker, I too get to go home to my wonderful wife and soon to be daughter. Tough times. I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers, just expressing my opinions on this open forum. Take care.

I want to know who is going to baby sit John? What’s going to happen if John get a “good” deal to gamble and then stays up all night playing someone and then wins some cash. Then he is to tired to play well in the tourney and looses. Is this fair to the 10 people who paid money? NOPE! What if he gets there and someone else decides to make him a better deal? They will pay the $1000 and only wants 35% of the winnings? Will he refund your money and take the better deal? HELL YES! I’ve even heard he’s done that exact same thing. Who’s going to make sure he doesn’t drink to much? I could go on and on why giving someone else money who may or may not ever have your best interest in mind is in my opinion is crazy.

I don't want to make a big deal out of it at all. I don't know John, i have never met him. But i did find it very funny that a guy who wins all this money and sells his video for way too much money needs to beg for cash online. To me that is funny as sh#$. This is one reason why pool will never become a big time sport. Most all the pros in the sport for the most part are dogs. Me Me Me. Why don't they put up there own money and try to make a go of it. I bet i could play 10x better in a tourny if i didn't have to worry about winning. But when my rent money is on the line i have way more to loose.

This is why I am thinking this is crazy. All of you have your own money to do what you want to and I’m cool with that. I’m just saying I’d never do it.

Pro golfers do this all the time and golf seems to be doing okay. When Rich Beem won the PGA Championship, he had a group of sponsors that were helping him get through the season and splitting the profits with him.

Cheers,
RC

Congratulations to my fellow "Schmidt List" members! We are on the verge of a fun ride!

The naysayers are missing the point and I might be able to point them in the right direction.

Earlier this year, I met John and got to chat with him and lost a short match against him. I found him to be congenial, honest, friendly, and willing to share his pool knowledge. I also could see that he can play pool at a phenomenal level.

Based on those factors, I was willing to kick in my $105. It really is not that much money to worry about and most importantly, I feel a sense of community and friendship by being a part of this venture.

That is the real key for me. When I saw my forum friends eager to help John out, I wanted to be a part of that team.

To all of the forum members that could not get in early enough, but wanted in, and supported our decision, I salute you!

What day does the 9-ball tournament start...thursday or friday? And is there a place to see the brackets and money beakdown? Thank you. Johnnyt

Hey Purdman--You missed my question. Which cue in your pic is the Buss?

The last one on the right end. It came with 4 shafts. I bought it from Mystic Cue Fan. The sixth one from the left is a Mike Webb that was a gift from cueball 1950. That one is dear to me and will be kept. The 12th cue from the left is an Andy Gilbert conversion.

GANG OF TEN : We salute you in your smart, generous and civic-minded decision to support John in his quest for this tournament and to take part in something we would all love to be a part of. In fact because of your generosity we can all sweat this tournament, living vicariously through you and John. Here's hoping the rolls go John's way.

Who from AZ is going to be giving us the daily updates? What will the thread be named and where will it be located?

Good luck to all of you.
Thanks,
JoeyA
