HIGHEST RUN you've witnessed by a pro

Danny Medina I think ran an 8-pack on Billy Incardona at the Sands Regency Open in the early 90's. It's on Accu-Stats. Medina won the match 13-1.

I was playing a road player from San Diego at House of Billiards in Santa Monica, early 2000's, races to 9. He broke dry at 2-2 and I ran out the set on 3 7/8" Ernesto pockets.

Restricting this to matches that I witnessed live, I saw Souquet run an 8-pack at 9ball vs Immonen in about 2007. I saw Dechaine run an 8-pack at 10-ball vs Archer in about 2013. I saw a straight pool run of 245 by Jack Colavita in about 1985. I saw John Ervolino run a truly remarkable three pack in full rack banks in about 2003. Regarding women's pool, I was the victim of Jeanette Lee's run of 152 at straight pool in what I believe was 2002. I was also present for Robin Dodson's 5-pack at 9ball in what I believe was 1997.
That Souquet 8 pack must have taken 13 hours. 😂

I'm skeptical. What match?
I think he's just joking, but it did seem like Little Ko went hours without missing.

The only 15-pack that is documented that I know of was by Niels Feijen and it was reported in AZB headline news as follows:

According to an AZB website article on 2/2/2003:

In a 'challenge match' against French player Donald Du Bois, Feijen broke and ran 15 consecutive 9-ball racks on a regulation 4 1/2 X 9' table.

I watched Jamie Farrell (not sure spelling) do 15 racks of 9-ball on one of his tight pocket gold crowns about 20 years ago at The Corner Pocket. Pretty sure that's the most I've seen in person.
Back in Vegas 2007, saw Dennis and SVB play a 0 inning, race to 15, 8 ball, alternate break, 7' diamond, for I think $10K. SVB won 15-14. First time I've ever say a perfect match, they both did it.

In 1996 I captained an APA team out of Breakrime Billiards in Greensboro, NC. Earl Strickland was practicing there in those days, and I sat down and watched him run 9 racks of 9-ball in a row. It was amazing to watch, in that it seemed absolutely effortless to him, and it seemed like only a few minutes from start to finish.

In the 03 swannee I watched Jose Parica run a 7 pack, play a safe in the 8th rack, run out after bih, and break n run the 9th for a perfect set.

They flipped for break, so his opponent literally had one inning.

I watched one of the best guys in our area (shortstop) spot a guy 13-8 in a 9-ball race. He broke and ran 8 racks. Broke and played safe in the 9th rack. His opponent kicked and hit the object ball, then he ran his last 5 racks and out. So in a race to 13, he got to the table exactly once and it was a kick. Of course, these were bucket size GC pockets but still impressive to see.

no, there was a safety exchange or two in the middle. but lil ko did have a lot of BNRs (obviously) and a TPA of 1.000. it was the semifinal so probably race to 11.
He broke and ran out all 11 racks in the semis, then he ran the next four in the finals so 15 total

Especially that is on video somewhere.

Biggest I know was the Johnny Archer 11 pack many decades ago.
.
What is the highest run svb has done in his challenge matches to 120? Didn't he do like a 9 pack on Orcullo?
Seen Matlock run a 11racks on a bb more than once. Highest 14.1 i saw was Dick Lane and iirc its was in the 200 ballpark. Maybe the most impressive was seeing Fat Randy playing golf, he ran out from the 2hole and then ran two more games from the opening break. Getcha sum!! That's pretty stout in anybody's book.

WOW. That is impressive. That is officially the highest run I've heard of documented. 11 being 2nd most.

BCA Hall of Famer Luther Lassiter, certainly the best 9ball player of the 1950s, reputedly ran a 21-pack at 9ball, but Jay Helfert thinks it was only 19, so I'll meet him halfway and call it a 20-pack. Undocumented, but both Jay and I had heard about it. Nick Varner has suggested that Lassiter may have been the straightest shooter in our game's history.

This is what happened in his match with Yapp where he made all 99 balls to win 11-0.

Yapp loses lag

Rack 1: Chung pushes out, Yapp misses, Chung runs out

Rack 2: Chung breaks and runs

Rack 3: Chung breaks and runs

Rack 4: Chung breaks and runs

Rack 5: Chung plays weak safe, Yapp kicks weak safe, Chung runs out

Rack 6: Chung breaks and runs

Rack 7: Chung breaks and runs

Rack 8: Chung breaks, plays safe on 4, Yapp kicks a containing safe, Chung banks safe, Yapp kicks weak safe, Chung runs out

Rack 9: Chung pushes out to jump, Yapp declines, Chung jumps into fluke safety, Yapp kicks weak safe, Chung plays safe, Yapp kick shot misses, Chung runs out

Rack 10: Chung pushes out, Yapp plays weak safety, Chung runs out

Rack 11: Chung breaks and runs

Yeah me and Jamie matched up a couple of times many years ago. He got me at 9 ball and I got him at 10 ball. Then several years later I was going to be flying out of New Orleans and stopped in. He wasn't there and I played some with some of the locals. Jamie comes in, but we didn't have time to play before I had to catch my flight. Jamie asks if anyone played me and one young guy pipes up, yeah we played some 10 ball and I didn't have a chance, but I think I might playing one pocket... Jamie says, and I'll never forget this "Kid, you don't have a chance at any game".

Another funny story about Jamie killing my action.. I was hanging out in Corner Pocket and this older black gentlemen hinted at wanting to play me some one pocket. Jamie hears it from across the room and comes bounding over saying, I'm backing Jaden... LOL Needless to say, we didn't end up playing.

One time several of us went out to dinner and I accidentally referred to Jamie as "The Red Rocket". Everyone started busting up laughing and to this day, I can never remember what his actual nickname is, I always think Red Rocket.

EDIT: I think I just finally remembered. I'm thinking it might be the 'Red Rifle'.
