History behind your Avatar

A lot are obvious, but I think we all often wonder about what the history is behind some of the user's avatars here. For example, boogieman, justadub, isuedtoberich, kling&allen, etc. Just curious!
 
I used to smoke Cuban cigars every day. Now I only smoke 2 or 3 a month.

Cuaba is one of the obscure Cuban cigar brands that most people have never heard of, and I happen to like.

I'm also known in the cue world, and the name Cuaba sounds like a play on the word cue.

My avatar pic is taken right off the front of a box of Cuaba Generosos.
 
No history really. The car is an '09 "Bullitt" Mustang, about to enter the crookedest road in Oregon. An old wagon road that was blasted out of lava flows across the backbone of the Cascade Mountains. Took the photo mainly for the sign that warns of turns too tight for vehicles over a certain length to negotiate. Unreadable in the avatar...
 
Even though my avatar is a photo of me, there is a story. For many years, my avatar was a picture of me sitting ringside at the Derby City Classic from about 2009. As I aged, I eventually came to realize that the picture no longer looked like me, so I went with my latest PASSPORT photo, which does not belie that I'm a proud recipient of Medicare. SJM are my initials. I like to keep it simple.
 
My avatar photo is a funny story...at least I think so. I'm from Maine. One of the things many folks associate with Maine is lobster. And many guys here on AZB have used photo's of pretty girls, just because....

Well, our esteemed JAM knew I was from Maine from our interactions here, and found this photo for me, as I wasn't using an avatar photo at the time. I liked it. I've been using it for many years now.

Of course, even funnier is that particular crustacean in the photo is NOT a Maine lobster, but we won't get caught up in the details now, right?
The girl is still pretty ;)

The nickname is just something I came up with when creating a username here lo those many years ago. Locally here, an old colloquialism for not being very good at something would be "dubbing around", so I kinda figured an apt description of my game is that I'm "Just a Dub".
Not terribly clever. But I've been using it for almost 15 years now, its stuck.

Mine is my King case and my old playing cue that I no longer have but used for years, a fancier version of similar Runde I custom ordered and do still have.

Should update it one of these days with a cue I still own but just haven't gotten around to it.
